Time for parents to cut the cord with government schools. They are, of course, super expensive, they are highly bureaucratic, they waste incredible amounts of time, and they indoctrinate your children in destructive ideologies
Home schooling has never been easier. Government schools are pushing everyone one line, just take the small extra step and find better and more suitable on-line coursework and establish alliances with other local homeschool parents.
or else....
And school taxes remain the same.
I pity these kids as not only has their education been compromised, but they are missing out on all those school activities like music programs, athletics, school plays etc. as well having real social contact with friends. These draconian measures are not justified by any real science and are leaving them emotionally scarred.
It would change the political dynamic if government employees, including teachers, had their income be reduced like small business owners and their employees.
Do you think the information coming from the CDC would change if their income was reduced by 20% to 30%? How about firing the CDC supervisors who focused on global warning versus disease control over the past 10 years?
Must be in the California state constitution, because it certainly is NOT in the US national constitution.
I could have told you this, my mom was a teacher, it’s hard enough to get kids to pay attention in a classroom, it will be utterly impossible with “teleschooling”. Having kids sitting in their rooms with the game systems, TVs and smartphones as distractions. And in most cases, parents who stick them in their rooms in front of the computer, then never even peek in because they figure it’s the school’s responsibility to make sure they learn.
How’s those sky-high, liberal-induced property taxes workin’ out for ya’ll out there? Hmmm...thought so. /s
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
bkmk
Education is not even mentioned in the U.S. Constitution.
