The opening night of the 2020 Republican National Convention blew last week’s Democratic snoozefest out of the water, drawing in six times more viewers on C-SPAN’s livestream.
Approximately 440,000 people tuned in to watch the first night of the virtual GOP convention on Monday, compared to just 76,000 views for the first night of the DNC, according to a Hill report.

In the rest of the broadcast ratings, the RNC did worse than the opening night of the DNC.
That is only the livestream on the Internet. They do not keep the stats on their TV broadcasts. You can bet most GOP watchers went to CSPAN to avoid the annoying MSM.

Everything was dark at the DNC. Was waiting for the Eye of Sauron to show up.
Unlike even Fox, on CSPAN you could actually watch the speakers speak without commentators cutting in and flapping their gums. I’m especially disappointed in Tucker Carlson and Hannity. It was probably Fox corporate that ordered them to do that crap.
We’re going to have EVERY TV, in the house - and we have several - on a different channel/streaming link....from OANN, to C-Span, to RSBN, etc.

Yep. Could be numerous reasons. Suppression of viewership by the news organizations. It is a foregone conclusion that Trump/Pence is the ticket. People are tired hearing about Trump. The reporting agencies are lying about the DNC and RNC statistics.

I watched it on twitch. Trump was streaming it from his channel and there is also a gopconvention channel with the same stream.
However, I watched it on lctrfan’s channel where he was providing nice commentary and the chatroom was great as well.

the democrats are saying different numbers...
that the dnc had a neilson rating of 18 million as the rnc only at 15 million...
or something like that.
i know they are manipulating data, but that is their narrative.
