With trumpets and the blast of the horn raise a shout before Hashem, the King. Psalms 98:6 (The Israel BibleTM)
A petition is currently being considered by Prime Minister which, if accepted, will permit a Jew to blow the shofar on Rosh Hashanna on the Temple Mount. Since the first day of Rosh Hashanna is on the Sabbath, it will be the only place in the entire Jewish world that a shofar will be blown and it will mark the first time since the destruction of the Temple that a Jew will be permitted to perform this powerful act at the holiest site in the world.
The Organization of 70 Nations, headed by Rabbi Hillel Weiss, and the Land of Israel Organization (Mateh LMaan Eretz Yisrael)headed by Aviad Vosoli, petitioned Prime Minister Netanyahu to permit the blowing of the shofar on the Temple Mount on the holy day of Rosh Hashanna.
Jews are only permitted to enter the Temple Mount five days a week: Sunday to Thursday. This year, the first day of Rosh Hashanna is on Saturday, the Sabbath. According to Jewish law, it is forbidden to blow the shofar on the Sabbath except for on the Temple Mount. So we submitted a request to permit a group of Jews to do so; to blow the shofar on the Temple Mount on the first day of Rosh Hashana.
If they succeed, this will be the first time a shofar will be blown on the Temple Mount since the destruction of the Temple 1,950 years ago. In contravention of the law, the Israeli police forbid any non-Islamic symbols, non-Palestinian national symbols, or non-Muslim rituals on the Temple Mount. This policy is an attempt to lessen Arab violence.

The Great Tribulation in Rev says
17:13-14 Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, "Who are these, clothed in white robes, adn whence have they come?" I said to him "Sir, you know." And he said to me "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."The washing of the robes means those who have been delivered
The Great Tribulation talks of how NERO persecuted God's people - this sustained and vicious tribulation of the Church started when Nero, the little horn, needed a scapegoat for the great fire of Rome. This state-sponsored persecution continued for about three years, until Nero diverted attention tot he Jewish-Roman war
Jesus clearly told the Sanhedrin that they would see evidence of the coming of the Son of man as predicted in Daniel 7:13 - for you to say this will happen after 2019 is FALSE. Jesus on the eve of His crucifixion made a promise to the Sanhedrin that THEY would see evidence of the coming of the Son of Man - he wasn't wrong by 2000 years!!!
Daniel clearly talks of the destruction of the Temple as the time of the Great Tribulation.Hebrews 9:24-25 christ has entered into Heaven itself, not to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. Nor was it to offer Himself repeatedly, as the High priest enters the Holy place yearly with blood not his own; for then He would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, He has appeared once and for all at the end of the age to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself
Daniel states that the purpose of the time is to bestow 6 blessings. These blessings were bestowed as a result of the first Advent The seventy weeks are decreed 'to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy."
The day when Christ was born, eternal righteousness was revealed, and the Saint of saints was anointed, namely Christ, and the vision and prophecy were sealed and those sins were remitted... It was because the prophecy was fulfilled by His advent that the vision was confirmed by a seal; and it was called a prophecy becuase Christ himself is the seal of all the prophets
Many who mistakenly believe the 19th century created concept of pre-Trib rapture forget that
Jerusalem was taken by the rebels and there is every indication that they would have blown the shofar.
Next - with the Arab conquest of Jerusalem in 623 AD, the Pharisee-Jews were allowed back into Jerusalem (or rather into Aelia Capitolina -- Jerusalem was razed to the ground) and allowed to worship and blow the shofar. The Dome of the Rock was out of bounds, but the temple mount was not
Luke 14:23 is about the disciples spreading the message of Jesus to ALL the dispersed Jews - Thomas had gone to India to meet and bring the good news to the Bene Israelis (who had been there since 500 BC) and you had disciples heading to Gaul and to north africa and persia etc. etc.
That's the major bone of contention and was the major bone of contention between the Jesus-movement Jews (aka Christians) and the Pharisee-Jews (aka, "Jews")
Is NOT Jewish worshiping in either of the two mosques there
Daniel’s horrific “week” happened and concluded with the destruction of the 2nd temple in 70 AD
it was the Christ-movement Jews who escaped from Jerusalem under siege in 67 AD and ran to the hills - to Pellas
But first read Apoc 12:14 .. to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times and half a time - for 3.5 years
This also references Is 51:9-10 "Was it not hou.. that didst pierce the dragon? Was it not thou that didst make the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?"
They’re kooks. “Israel” in any sense of the word, has nothing to do with them.
Why?
Actually...
Groan...
The Bible says that for whatever reason, the “beast” can’t get to them there in Petra.
..................
The 70th week is described in Daniel 9:26b-27.
The 70th week is located in verse 26b “in the end”. The OT prophesies reference to “the end” is always about the end of the age AKA the seven-year tribulation AKA Daniel’s 70th week.
Daniel 11:40-12:13 (”at the time of the end”) also describes this seven-year period that is yet to occur. “And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation” (Id. 12:1) has yet to occur. By the end of the first half of the seven-year tribulation, 1/2 of the earth is dead. The rest die in the second half. None of that has ever happened before.
Daniel 11:41 tells areas, where Petra is, that “shall escape out of his hand”.
