Three Ohio House Republicans have drafted articles of impeachment against Gov. Mike DeWine, claiming many of his administrations coronavirus orders are unconstitutional and violate Ohioans civil liberties.
While the chances of DeWine, a Greene County Republican, being removed from office are very slim, the articles of impeachment reflect ongoing dissatisfaction from many conservative lawmakers about the governors coronavirus response.
A resolution introduced by state Rep. John Becker, a Clermont County Republican, includes 10 articles of impeachment against DeWine which claim he:

Happening against Wolf in Pennsylvania too.
Though I doubt they have the votes to actually impeach in either state.
From what I know of Vitale I like him.
In a strongly worded statement, Ohio Republican Party Chair Jane Timken distanced the party from the conservative lawmakers attempting to remove DeWine, calling the move a baseless, feeble attempt at creating attention for themselves.
I guess the party chairman will have to take sides in this and of course side with the governor. At least until (if) the legislature tips toward impeaching the dictator of Ohio.
A former high ranked employee told me, concerning what the company was doing, (approximately) “Never institute a rule you know will be violated. It destroys your authority and damages your ability to lead as, ultimately, everyone choses to follow. Don’t do anything to ever make them choose which of your instructions to follow or not follow.”
It looks like the governor took on dictatorial powers outside the normal scope of his office. Letting those acts go unchallenged sets a dangerous precedent. While it is unlikely that the votes exist to take him out of office, the legislature has done what is in its power to make other governors pause and consider whether they should do what he did.
Incidentally, the mounting evidence is that doing nothing at all would have caused fewer deaths and certainly wouldn’t have damaged the economy like this over-reaction has. If that turns out to be the case, we need laws to prevent a hysterical over reaction like this in the future. The big clue was, it’s okay to “protest” but it’s not okay to go to church.
I wish the Michigan GOP controlled legislature would do something like this.... but they are the most spineless group of go along - get along almost democrats in the country....
Finally
DeWine and Cuomo,,,,a pair of killers............
This should happen to every governor or public official that did this.
These givenors are Devil Worshipin, Satanic Inspired, Kommunists...
I live in Ohio and I think DeWine has been compromised. SoS Pompeo gave his speech to the Governors back in January and commented that everyone of them is on a list in China. Those who won’t deal with the Chicoms, those who have and those who are owned by China. It is the only explanation I can come up with to explain the decisions he’s made.
I like John Becker, one heck of a dude. The Ohio Republican party better look deeply inside of themselves as they have been the pawns of Kasich and Larrry Housholder and crew.. corrupt to the core.
