That would be awesome, but I’m not optimistic.

Honestly, neither party is going to like the idea of giving up the ability to keep a senate seat for damn near half of a century. I don’t foresee it happening.

I am for it, but I think it would be a states’ issue. That would make it difficult to get done.

I call that a kill shot

You know who loves term limits? The American Voter

You know who hates them? Politicians

That is why they don’t exist

Absolutely a good idea but its going to take a constitutional amendment. Not easy, to say the least.

At least it gets a debate going. It is long overdue.

Good idea, but zero chance of it happening

Those phoney-baloney jobs pay (under the table) too much for them to ever give that up

Reminds me of Jesus who cleared the Temple of all the Pharisees and Sadducees.

I am afraid that will require a Constitutional Amendment. They tried once before and it was determined to be unconstitutional, and besides which of those career politicians will actually vote for limiting their graft mill?

There are those that think that term limiting Congress critters would lead to bureaucrats having more power than they should. But, given the corruption in government, the bureaucrats pretty much already do the bidding of the DemocRats, so maybe term limits would be an improvement.

How can they argue against it?

THE PREISDENT HAS TERM LIMITS

If the people can’t send back a president even if they want to, they have no basis to argue it for any other office.

His agenda just got drowned out by the latest tragic police shooting that the DemonRats and their media lapdogs will exploit the hell out of now.

Do-able or not, it would go a LONG WAY in breaking up the power cartels of the political elite lifers who have turned influence peddling into a cottage industry.

I think it was Mark Twain that said, “Every politician should serve two terms; one in office, and the second in jail.”
