Donald Trump's sister said her brother has 'no principles', 'you can't trust him' and he has been 'lying' throughout his presidency, according to secret audio recorded by the president's niece.
Maryanne Trump Barry, 83, slammed the president for his 'phoniness' and called him 'cruel' over his controversial migrant policies where thousands of children were separated from their families and held in detention centers.
'It's the phoniness of it all. It's the phoniness and this cruelty. Donald is cruel,' she is heard saying in the recordings, obtained by the Washington Post.
The president's older sister also dismissed Trump's intelligence saying 'he doesn't read', said he did 'accomplish [his five bankruptcies] all by his self' and doubled down on claims the president paid someone to take his SATs.
Maryanne made the shocking comments back in 2018 to estranged niece Mary Trump, who secretly recorded the conversation with her aunt and has since parted ways with the Trump clan following her spill-all book.
The release of the scathing audio from one of Trump's nearest and dearest comes at a critical time in the run-up to the November election.
It casts some alarming doubt over his own family's confidence in his capabilities in the White House, as Maryanne - and none of the rest of the Trump siblings - has never publicly criticized her younger brother or any of his policies.
Their release comes one day after Trump held a funeral service at the White House for their brother Robert who died last week - a service Maryanne appeared to be notably absent from.

Man’s been president for 4 years, I don’t need his sister to tell me whether he’s “capable”.
He has a list of accomplishments as president.
And if she’s stupid enough to believe the “he separated families” crap, she’s worthless.
Btw besides being an Obama policy, I think the families were being separated for a week or two max.

When my husband passed away several years ago one of his sisters came up for visitation but didn’t stay for the funeral the next day. They had workers coming to start their new barn and wanted to be there.
I come from a big family. Half the time we didn’t even speak to each other after our Mother died. She kept us together.
Sisters and brothers are not obliged to like each other.
I look at his relationship with his children...ALL of them... that is the best measure of what a man is.
And President Trump passes with flying colors.

President Trump must know that many families have toxic elements. I have two sisters that are less than model citizens. I haven’t had contact with either of them in 20 years. Not since our mother’s funeral. I don’t miss one bit the lack of contact.
I think many of us stay together while parents are alive for our parents sake. Once they pass then that’s it.
Want to bet Chris Wallace and Fox host will bring this up Sunday, Monday, Tues, and wed... Martha is a Biden personal friend and she will make this a big deal...

Just look at the Royal Family of England and what a sibling will do and say to hurt his brother because of jealousy and coveting those things he will never have. The Trump family is the same, Donald worked and became a great person while the sibling achieved nothing. It’s life.

Um, he’s been through hell and back trying to keep his promises and uphold his principles.
I really dislike family squabbles that are taken public because it seems there’s always something small-minded and cringe-worthy about them, and they hurt the family, which more often than not doesn’t deserve it.
Well, there’s no question who the great man is here, and he happens to be POTUS.

Due to age-related mental decline and loss of estrogen, older women, like older men, often tend to become grumpy and even plain mean. Trump’s sister seems to be well into that process.
Maryanne has only one child, a son. David is a clinical psychologist.
