Actor and climate change alarmist Harrison Ford flew his 19-year-old son off to college on a carbon emissions-pumping private jet this week, according to a report by Just Jared, which says the Indiana Jones actor, his son, and wife Calista Flockhart were seen exiting the jet in Amherst, Massachusetts.
Harrison Ford flying hundreds of miles on greenhouse gas-spewing jet flies in the face of his constant climate change alarmism. Earlier this year — while in in Mexico City to promote his latest film — Ford praised teenage climate worrier Greta Thunberg and trashed the United States, claiming that the nation has lost its “moral leadership” on issues such as improving the environment and immigration policy.
“We need moral leadership,” Ford told reporters. “We’ve lost some of our credibility and we are anxious to regain it.”

I wonder if he kept his license after those two episodes..he was a licensed pilot in fixed wing and helicopter, not jets.
I wasn’t aware he had more than two incidents - there were actually four - one at Lake Piru, CA in 1999 in a training flight and the helicopter hit the ground, an emergency landing in 2015 Venice, CA - serious injury, one in 2017 at OC, CA when he overflew a 737 holding short of the runway and one this year at Hawthorne, CA airport when he crossed a runway when another plane was landing. That’s just plain carelessness...
Maybe the FAA should decide he needs to hang it up. Why hasn’t it been done?

Frankly I have never understood his appeal as an actor. Wooden is the word that best describes his style. That he is a global warming hypocrite is yet another reason to dismiss him.

If Harrison Ford is serious about being a pilot and to do so safely, he should be flying with a co-pilot who is ready to take over. He’s getting old so his senses are not what they used to be. Now with Slow Joe, that guy is trying to be our President? If elected, at the end of the first term, he will turn 81.
With his track record, I wouldn’t put one foot in his plane. I’m surprised SM Airport even allows him to fly out of there anymore.
He bikes, recycles, reuses....etc. I respect someone who walks their talk. These other celebrities are just hypocrites & I have no use for them.

Sometimes you don’t have a choice. Ford used to volunteer his time and helicopter to work search and rescue for the Teton County Sheriffs Office. He’s pulled several stranded hikers off the mountains in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Yes, he’s getting old, but…

Harrison Ford leaving Santa Monica airport but from the comments, there is skepticism that he was the pilot - hope that wasn’t his walkaround if he WAS the pilot. No one can tell where he sat once he got on the plane - pilot or passenger? Wikipedia has him flying only fixed wing and helicopters.

I can’t find anything about him being rated to fly the Citation business jets you mentioned. He may own them but I’m still looking for his rating. It looks like he OWNS at least 10 aircraft - appears to be a mix of fixed wing, jets, helicopters. Did you find something about him being rated to fly the Citations?
I did find that the FAA cleared him of any violation after the latest incident - they let him keep his pilot certificate...I think that’s a big mistake. He makes a lot of smart remarks about the “mistakes” he’s made about the various incidents he’s been involved in and that’s not normal. I read a lot of what’s online about him and his flying and find his remark about flying up the coast to get a cheeseburger pretty snooty. You’re not the only one, Harrison. Anyone with a pilots certificate flies to different airports for the food - we used to fly from OC to Catalina for buffaloburgers, to Riverside, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Chino, Palm Springs..
