Weeks after city and state officials and Democrats claimed additional federal officers deployed to Portland to protect federal property had caused peaceful protests to become violent, and so the extra personnel pulled back, the riots and destruction have grown, according to numerous media and observer reports on Friday and Saturday.
Oregon Live reported on the rise in violence by Antifa protesters:
The Portland Police Bureau has declared a riot 18 times since the late May death of George Floyd, a Black man killed by Minneapolis police, according to figures released by the agency this week.

They don’t want to leave their Portland shithole.
The consequences could be unexpected.
This has nothing to do with Floyd and everything to do with punks being allowed to terrorize for political gain. Now the Governor has a real chance of being recalled.

They are very predictable. They drive police away from them. Someday, someone might use those two habits against them. Good watches, but waits...
I don’t know for sure, but if they continue to do this the wealth gap will start to close up. Smaller communities will start to get the investment that is currently concentrated in places like Portland, San Francisco, New York, etc. The landlords will be ruined in these places.
That much can work to the advantage of flyover country if they play their cards right. I wouldn’t swear that is what the plan is, but that is an egalitarian outcome they are very likely to get.
Part of it? That property isn’t worth spit now. Maybe the government is going to buy out the properties for pennies on the dollar to grow bigger government?

This kind of behavior would not end well in some parts of the country
In areas outside of the Portland banana republic, police are going to be a lot different than those in the shithole. Anti-fa terrorist teachers won’t have to ever worry about returning to a classroom again.
