Steve Bannon joked about We Build The Wall founder Brian Kolfage stealing money from the fund and boasted about the triple amputee veteran's 'million-dollar yacht' in footage

Kolfage, a Purple Heart veteran who lost an arm and two legs in Iraq in 2004, was arrested at his home in Florida and is accused of being the main beneficiary of the scam, allegedly pocketing a staggering $350,000 of donor money while he and his wife flaunted their extravagant lifestyles on social media.

Newly resurfaced footage of the pair taken on June 24, 2019 shows the two men openly laughing and joking about peddling money from the border wall scheme, more than a year before the feds swooped in.

In the video, part of We Build The Wall's 'Wall-A-Thon' fundraiser to draw in donors to the scheme, Bannon boasts that they are on board Kolfage's 'million-dollar yacht' and laughs that the veteran 'took all that money' from the scheme.

'Welcome back and this is Stephen K. Bannon,' Bannon says to the camera, while sitting next to Kolfage.

'We're off the coast of Saint-Tropez in southern France, in the Mediterranean. We're on the million-dollar yacht of Brian Kolfage.'

The two men look at each other and laugh as Bannon pats Kolfage on the shoulder.

'Brian Kolfage - who took all that money from Build The Wall,' Bannon adds, while Kolfage continues to smile at his alleged co-conspirator.

Bannon then says: 'No, we're actually in Sunland Park, New Mexico.'

Social media users were baffled at the footage, which, based on the allegations made against the two men this week, point to an inside joke about the scam that was very much under way at the time.

If you are close to Trump at all, and you leave the slightest gap in your armor, the Left and the massive government they control will find a way to stick a knife in.

If he did what he's accused of then should being close to Trump give him immunity?

Steve Bannon is a nationalist and was right there in ‘16 winning that election with and for Trump. We all owe him for that.

I agree with you...Steve Bannon did more to save this country than any other republican besides Trump....That being said,I hope these guys are innocent...I just don’t see how unless they made sure to tell donors everything....When you run a non profit, there are rules up the ying yang and you better follow all of them....

Was it dems in the justice dept who went rogue and wanted to nail Bannon ????

Couldn’t care less. have a 107mm rocked blow off your arm and both legs. I wish the boy well.

Chelsea Clinton lived off the Clinton Foundation teat, they all fly around in no less than a G5. Antifa and BLM take in hundreds of millions, Southern “Poverty” Law center lives on extortion.

And the SDNY singles out this group. Total political BS.

Ego driven hucksters often joke about how they are taking people, assuming everyone will think it’s a joke. It’s their sense of arrogance and invincibility.

$350k over how many years. Divide by two and its a senior gubmint bureaucrat salary without bonuses, health care, retirement, etc. The judge and prosecutors all make that much, at least.

My guess is that it’s a joke and this is a political hit job directed by Democrat prosecutors at the DOJ. The timing is no accident. If only Durham would do something similar around this time implicating Biden sidekicks at the DOJ and FBI.

Caesar's wife must be above suspicion
If one is involved with a famous or prominent figure, one must avoid attracting negative attention or scrutiny. Julius Caesar allegedly used the phrase to explain why he divorced his wife, Pompeia.

KOLFAGE, 38, of Miramar Beach, Florida, BANNON, 66, of Washington, D.C., BADOLATO, 56, of Sarasota, Florida, and SHEA, 49, of Castle Rock, Colorado, are each charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering, each of which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

1. This is SD New York, an EXTREMELY political jurisdiction, staffed by mostly Democrat Resistance "prosecutors". It's ten weeks before the election of our lives.

2. Federal prosecutors love to overwhelm their targets by "charge-larding", dropping numerous charges on an accused person to get them to knuckle under to the wishes of the "prosecutors".

This is all they've got? Two "aggravated jaywalking and littering" charges for each target? Where's the lard?

In my view, Democrat "prosecutors" got a grand jury to indict four ham sandwiches, ten weeks before a presidential election.

We could ask Ted Stevens what that's all about, but he's dead now.

KOLFAGE will be presented today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Hope T. Cannon in the Northern District of Florida. BANNON will be presented today in the Southern District of New York. BADOLATO will be presented today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas Wilson in the Middle District of Florida. SHEA will be presented today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Kristen L. Mix in the District of Colorado. [partisan Democrat Obama "judge"] in the Southern District of New York.

We know that the "judge" will be a partisan Democrat ClownBammy "judge".

I'll have to look into the "prosecutors", to see if they're:

#1: Democrats
#2: The kind who hide exculpatory evidence and do other dirty tricks, like Dirty Emmet Sullivan's "prosecutors" in the Flynn cases and the Ted Stevens case.

We know that DOJ just replaced a partisan Democrat prosecutor with Audrey Strauss, but we don't really know her bona fides.

I'll note that Federal magistrate "judges" are handling the individual cases.

Convenient, because it's REALLY hard to tell which political party a magistrate judge is in, or whether they're Resistance.

Magistrate judges are appointed by the Article III district court judges themselves, not by the president.

Yeah, I think if Kolfage had been upfront about taking a salary, it would have been fine. And considering what he lost in Iraq, I don’t think donors would mind him trying to earn a living.

Ms. Strauss praised the outstanding investigative work of the USPIS and the Special Agents of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. She also thanked the U.S Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida for their assistance.

The case is being handled by the Office’s Public Corruption Unit. Assistant United States Attorneys Nicolas Roos, Alison G. Moe, and Robert B. Sobelman are in charge of the prosecution.

I donated $150 and if everything is true, they misspent about two dollars of that. I’m very disappointed but I’m happy that the $148 of my $150 helped build the wall. If they had simply said upfront there was going to be 1.4% administrative overhead, there would have been no problem. They could have even kept more than that like most charities. Dumb guys... if the allegations are true. IF.
