Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch brought up the eligibility issue regarding Kamala Harris. At least he touch on it, increasingly a 3rd rail of things that cannot be said, according to the main stream media. However, he doesn't seem to understand, or feigns that at this point in time, that the 14th Amendment does not contain the adjectives "natural born" in front of the word "Citizen" therein, and the 1898 Wong Kim Ark SCOTUS "holding" only declared WKA a 14th Amendment "Citizen" of the United States, and not an Article II Section 1 Clauses 5 "natural born Citizen" of the United States. The 14th Amendment did not change or modify or dilute Article II Section 1 Clause 5, the presidential eligibility clause. The 14th Amendment is a man-made act and Positive Law that made new "Citizens" of the United States. No man-made law is necessary to make a "natural born Citizen". Only Natural Law can create "natural born Citizens" of the United States, i.e., born in the USA of two "Citizen" parents, born Citizens themselves or naturalized, but both a "Citizen" of the USA when their child is born in the USA. Kamala Harris was born a Citizen of Jamaica at birth via her foreign national Jamaican Citizen father who was in the USA on a temporary via. She was thus born a dual-Citizen with citizenship and allegiance to a foreign country. Foreign influence on her via birth. She was also raised in Canada by her mother, a Citizen of India, more foreign influence via her mother. This is exactly what John Jay wrote to George Washington about during the Constitutional Convention in July 1787, that command of our military should never devolve to a person with foreign influence at birth, which resulted in the "natural born Citizen" term being added to the presidential eligibility clause, as a "strong check" against foreign influence in our highest elected offices. Per the 12th Amendment (last line) to be the VP you must also be an Article II natural born Citizen. She is not. But at least he had the courage to broach the subject of Kamala Harris' lack of constitutional eligibility to serve as Vice President, or a back door path to the Presidency and Commander in Chief. IMHO at this state of the game this should have been decided by the Supreme Court many years ago.

The two parties most prominent now are not authorized by the Constitution or are Governmental agencies.
They have no more right to put forward a Presidential candidate than your local golf club.

Through the years the Dems and Repubs have allowed the public to think of those two parties as the only two legitimate voting choices.

Since neither party pushes the Supreme Court for a clarification of "NATURALBORN" ,the Socialists and Communists, who have taken over the Dem Party, can get away unquestioned with an Obama and Harris nomination ,while the cowardly Repubs remain silent, and let their own Sen. Cruz and Sen. Rubio go unvetted.

Somewhere along the line the Supreme Court is going to have to settle this 'NATURAL BORN' eligibility question. -Tom

Thank you for the link to Sharon Rondeau's interview with Tom Fitton, and I look forward to reading your material on Euler Diagrams.

It is unfortunate our politicians thought it not necessary to insert the words "natural born" in the language of the 14thA. Perhaps they overestimated us.

However, it appears to me the 14thA itself operates to demonstrate what "natural born citizen" (NBC) means.

The historical record indicates the Framers recognized only two forms of citizenship in Article 2; that they expressly rejected "citizen" and redrafted Art 2 to include the more exacting NBC.

It is significant, therefore, that with the 14thA our politicians again addressed the two most important forms of citizenship. In the first instance, they addressed in detail the highest form of citizenship known to free societies at the time outside of a royal family: "born in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction". There is simply no higher form and thus must be what the Framers had in mind.

It is important to recognize the founders intended that jurisdiction to be complete and not diluted by birth to a foreign citizen. (This was no time in history for half measures.)

It would appear from the 14thA that one is either "natural" or "naturalized", the latter a process of curing any "defect" providing a means of assuring allegiance.

For me, the simplest explanation as to how dangerous this lackadaisical interpretation of the natural born citizen clause has become is that currently, there is a child growing up and being educated in China who will someday become President of the United States.
