I lost interest in my beloved Steelers a couple years ago.
Does the NFL think it will get enough income from TV contracts and George Soros to continue paying their players?
Who is paying the NFL to give the finger to its fan base?
I do not think that the next generation of fans are all that interested in watching football.
I can tell you EXACTLY why.
Sports is supposed to be an escape from the pressures and problems of everyday life.
When you bring to the Escapist Circus, all the problems and pressures around racism (black-on-white and white-on-black) then to a large degree you have removed the only real draw.
My buddy is a lifelong Redskin fan. Every season he would decorate HIS WHOLE HOUSE!! Every weekend would invite everyone over for the game.
This year? Nada. Not going to do it. As he says, "A huge middle finger to the 'Washington Football Team'".
NooseCAR followed the NFL into oblivion.
Long time fans have walked.
It died of character issues.
Yep and i spent 25 of the last 35 yrs going to NYJ
Bought lots of gear
Made lots of good friends
Extended friendship to visiting fans of every stripe
Learned how to fry grill and smoke 50 different
dishes- a bonus
Whacked together portable TV and satellite rigs
-a fun bonus for a professional techie It was
like installing directv every game
(my neighbor put satellite dish on light pole with
braces, i used magnets and christmas tree stand)
This is fing rat eared purple lipped dogeater
and MSM instigating but nfl as well
I always said if sport got woke/NBA racist im out
Dropped st 3 yrs ago
cut back watching other games 90% only my team
no exhibitions
Just dumped att cell
Just opted out of tiX
Saw the greatest sb win so itll have to tide me over forever
Football used to be a way for my friends and family to enojy something free of politics “Sports are important because they’re not” - they’ve now injected politics into the game so there’s no reason to watch. I’ll give College Football a try this season, but I can assure you that my Sundays will be spent reading or doing something other than watching the NFL.
Maybe colin kapernick will buy the franchise..
I took a break from the Oshkosh airshow one day and took a ride to Green Bay.
In addition to the railway museum which I liked, I took a tour of Lambeau.
I really don’t care about sports but I like history and seeing behind the scenes of places.
The tour was informative. I liked the older guy who led the group. He was a very good speaker.
I think it is seriously baseful.
They didn’t shoot themselves in the foot, they cut off their own heads.
OK, on what facts is it based?
Ya, I have been to the Packer hall of fame thing a few times. But I will tell you what. The RR museum is in my book the best. Especially the Big Boy!
I wandered around the RR museum in GB for I don’t know how many hours.
So much to see.
How did you like the air show?
I was there just once. Wish I would have went many times more.
That whole noose incident was weaponized bullshit and everyone knows it, but NASCAR had to trip over themselves to get ‘woke’ and now they can’t walk back the damage they did to themselves after rolling over and playing dead. Plus, when the facts came out, the enemedia quietly let the whole story die, never to be mentioned again. The Fifth Estate is a social underclass and should literally be treated like the whores and subversives they are.
I do not have the link handy but google “nfl” and “cancel” and “star spangled banner”
I loved it.
Even though I hiked all around almost every day for a few days, at best I saw half.
At some point, I could do it again.
I stayed in the dorms, the 70s section.
It was an experience as well.
Found only the statement that the anthem might be played from a recording or a piped-in live performance from outside the stadium, rather than a live band on the field.
