Because some of us that know how these things work recognize crimes when they see them even if ideologues want to hope it isn’t true.

This is what we lawyers call Hornbook Law. It is so simple and straightforward and uncomplicated that even most laypersons can understand it. That is if they aren’t wrapped up in their desire to not want to see the truth because it makes their guys look bad.

Kolfage was born in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, on September 21, 1982, and grew up there. He completed his last year of high school in Waikiki, Hawaii, upon his parents’ divorce.[5] He married his wife, Ashley Goetz, on May 28, 2011, and the couple have two children together.[2] Kolfage enrolled in University of Arizona with support from the Pat Tillman Foundation and graduated from the Architecture School in 2014.

Military background
He was deployed to Kuwait in 2003 and to Iraq in 2004, where he served in the Air Force Security Forces.[6] Kolfage was injured in Balad, Iraq, on September 11, 2004, when a 107 mm rocket landed 3 feet from his position, and caused the loss of both his legs and his right hand. He received a Purple Heart after his injuries, and recovered in Walter Reed Medical Center until July 2005 and later found a civilian job at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. After his injury he began to speak publicly about his experience and recovery and filmed a campaign ad for Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in 2011. He was invited as Giffords’s special guest to President Obama’s State of the Union address in 2012.[7]

This news is barely 12 hours old, way too soon to jump ship.

Agree. Reeks of an FBI “informat” set up job to me. The vet may have made some bad decisions but the coupists DOJ/FBI smelled blood and went in for a kill against a supporter of POTUS. The vet deserves the benefit of the doubt and the DOJ does not. It’s that simple.

What part of telling everyone it ALL is going to build the wall and then spending hundreds of thousands on yourself do you not understand?

It’s called fraud. And it’s a crime.

I gave, and no, I was not swindled. I never saw anything about spending all the money on the wall and I assumed the guy took a salary.

another way reported:

“Indeed, as Kolfage noted to Badolato in a text message exchange, ‘as far as [the public] knows no one is getting paid’ and ‘salaries will never be disclosed,’” the indictment states.

Remember, there were two committees. This is the first committee. When GO FUND wasn’t going to pay out Koflage got Bannon and others to form a second committee. The object was the same but now they could funnel money back and forth and go fund wouldn’t object.

This what we non lawyers call an ongoing coup against POTUS.

Why are you giving the coupists at SDNY the benefit of the doubt? Why are you assuming their motives are pure? Why are you assuming they did not use the FBI in the same manner that they used it against Roger Stone? Why are you incurious about the origins of this “investigation.”, etc., etc.

These guys were at most jaywalking and in no way deserve massive DOJ resources pounding on them. What should be troubling lawyers is why we have a two tiered justice in this country. There is no crime in a Democrat does it. Anything is a crime if you support POTUS. THAT is a far more important issue than whatever went down here.

Suspect in murder of Gambino mob boss unhinged, ran pro-Trump Instagram
3/20/2019, 9:44:52 AM · by ChicagoConservative27 · 18 replies
nypost ^ | 03/19/2019 | Adam Schrader & Lia Eustahewich
The construction worker charged in the murder of Gambino godfather Francesco “Franky Boy” Cali seemed unhinged leading up to the brazen hit, friends told The Post on Tuesday. Anthony Comello — who showed up for his first court appearance Monday with “MAGA forever” and references to the conservative QAnon movement scrawled on his hand — managed the Instagram account “realamericasvoice_” which is filled with anti-Democrat and pro-President Trump posts, said the pals, who spoke on condition of anonymity. Suspected mob boss killer tried to make a citizen’s arrest of de Blasio “He had a secret Instagram. He used to post...

The forensic analysis has shown tht that the money went from the charity thru several Bannon front groups

You studied the forensics? Or read a govt press release.

What I saw from one story was that he had some kind of fund about black lives matter and then when Gofundme caused a problem Bannon got involved

So not sure of all the details..but THIS is interesting. How is he going to refund all that money that has already been siphoned.

“Kolfage did not respond to a question about how the checks will be sent to him but said he would refund the money if the GoFundMe does not reach its $1 billion goal. Kolfage updated his fundraising page Thursday to say all checks should be made out to “GoFund The Wall” but did not respond to an email asking whether that was a bank account or an organization created to receive donations. Previously, the page did not list whom the check should be made out to.”

Cops eye John Gotti’s brother after slaying of Gambino boss
3/15/2019, 9:30:34 AM · by ChicagoConservative27 · 39 replies
nypost ^ | 03/14/2019 | Larry Celona
The Gottis are back in town — and the bloodshed could just be beginning. Police are taking a serious look at whether Gambino crime family boss Francesco “Franky Boy” Cali was whacked in an internal war for control — with one of John Gotti’s brothers and a key associate fresh out of prison and possibly looking to seize power, law enforcement sources told The Post on Thursday. While the motive for the Wednesday hit on Cali outside his Staten Island home remains under investigation, cops were probing whether it was part of a brewing American-vs.-Sicilian power struggle — with Gene...

It is alleged that in 2001, Roger Clinton, half-brother of the then president Bill Clinton had sought to free Rosario Gambino with a presidential pardon, after having allegedly received 50,000 dollars among other gifts by the Gambino family. The pardon was never issued by Bill Clinton. -----Italy: Former Mafia boss expulsion from US delayed (Rosario Gambano, pal of Roger Clinton) ADNKronos (Italy) ^ | April 3, 2008 http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1996208/posts Posted on ‎4‎/‎3‎/‎2008‎ ‎2‎:‎13‎:‎22‎ ‎PM by HAL9000 10 posted on 3/14/2019, 6:55:05 AM by piasa

LOL. I wonder if the FBI was reading Obama campaign/admin texts and emails after they had illegally accepted all those foreign donations? I doubt it.

Yet Joe the triple amputee Combat vet gets a rectal probe here from the FIB complete with informant and search warrants. Obviusly, his real crime is effectively supporting POTUS. Sad to see good conservatives giving top cover to the coupists on this one.

In order to tighten her “chokehold,” Hillary set up what Brock calls a “Shadow Counsel’s office” – working parallel to the ordinary White House counsel’s office, but answering directly to Hillary loyalist Harold McEwan Ickes (pronounced ICK-eez).
Ickes was well-suited to the task of heading this secretive operation. As a New York labor lawyer, Ickes had represented numerous corrupt unions controlled by the Gambino, Colombo, Genovese, Lucchese and other organized crime families. His work on behalf of gangsters and labor racketeers brought him perilously close to prosecution, but Ickes displayed a Houdini-like gift for evading the authorities. “There are more than a couple of prosecutors in this city who believe that the only thing separating Harold Ickes and a jail cell is his ability to go strong and silent in the face of tough questions,” noted New York Post columnist Mike McAlary in 1993.
Ickes’ personal loyalty to Hillary is impressive. He ran her successful Senate campaign in 2000 and continues serving her today as the Shadow Party’s de facto CEO.
A former New Left militant during the ‘60s, Ickes traveled in 1965 to the Dominican Republic, where a junta of left-wing colonels was trying to restore deposed President Juan Bosch to power. Bosch was a socialist who had spent two years of his exile in Castro’s revolutionary Cuba.
Fearful that the Dominican Republic would go the way of Cuba, President Lyndon Johnson dispatched 22,000 Marines to the island nation on April 29, 1965. After fierce fighting, the leftist colonels were beaten. The socialist Bosch stood for election on June 1, 1966, losing to the pro-American candidate Joaquin Balaguer, who took 56.3 percent of the vote.
