I’m gonna call Bullsh!t on this one - I know the town of Valley Stream very well and it is more of a black area than white, white is the minority there now.

If she’s already won a $5,000 judgement, that leaves your
“Call B.S. on this one” comment looking pretty lost in
space.
Then again, she could by lying too.
She would have to have done something pretty bad to justify
any of that stuff, if they did it. As another poster said,
take her to court if you have a beef. Don’t do this stuff.
I have a very low tolerance for someone who would do that
to any single mom of any color.
For a BS story, her neighbors were indeed arrested and charged for harassing her. So the cops saw there was merit to her complaints. Sure, she thought that their actions were based on racism. From her point of view, its easy to see why. I dont think she was being malicious in her conclusion as to their motives.
And the DAs office found no evidence that her neighbors motive was racism. Just flat out harassment.
This is no BS. This is the village of Valley Stream, not the town of No. VALLEY Stream. Started going black over 30 yrs ago. My fiancee and his family lived a few doors down from them. I was on that block every day for 4 years. The father in his 80s moved there in 1964.
