USPS is giving priority to Amazon packages over Chick packages. I can’t for the life of me figure out how mailing live animals with the disfunctional post office system would be a good thing to do. Plus, it is summertime and very hot.

Chicks by mail??????
For those of you who did not know, yes, live baby chickens DO go through the US Mail.

Wonder if new USPS anti-virus cleaning protocols could have damaged the chicks. They probably don’t like breathing in bleach or other cleaners.
This is what happens. Contractors carry pallets of chicks for the USPS since they don’t have their own aircraft. The chicks are come on flat boxes that are pallet sized, maybe ten inches high, stacked about six feet high. They are loaded into an aircraft before departure and on a hot ramp an a/c cart hose is out into the pit to keep them cool. The a/c cart breaks and my the time it’s pulled for departure, many of the chicks die from overheating. It happens every year. Thankfully it’s rare. In the winter the pallets of chicks are kept in a warm hangar until the last minute. At least by the contractors who care.
Steve Doherty, a spokesman for the USPS, said the agency “can’t locate a claim being filed for this loss.” Some animals, including live chicks, can be mailed safely under proper conditions.

Hmmm... no claim for the alleged loss? I guess it’s easier to say something, true or false, for political purposes than it is where the false claims and fraud laws can land you in felony land,
The chicks died because mail delivery via the USPS has been politicized by the Dims, with the willful cooperation of the postal unions. That is the same reason why I had extreme difficulty receiving my prescriptions via the mail the past several weeks.
The REAL target of the disruptions are not chicks or prescriptions, but BALLOTS!! This must not stand!!!!

Why are they sending live animals through the mail? Haven’t you seen what USPS does to a package that says Fragile?
I ship a lot of product to customers. I haven’t gotten a single “where’s my box” email. This is a vastly overblown Democrat hoax.
What’s the big deal? When you buy a chicken at the store, it’s dead.
