Prominent black NC Bishop Patrick Wooden says Kamala Harris ‘ain’t good for black folk’ (video too)

Firebrand North Carolina Bishop Patrick Wooden Sr., of the conservative Upper Room Church of God in Christ in Raleigh, slammed newly minted Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris as “ain’t good for black folk” in a politically charged sermon Sunday.

In his impassioned sermon during which he took aim at the Democratic Party and its presidential ticket, Wooden pointed to Harris’ controversial record on criminal justice as well as her support for the LGBT agenda.

“You know Kamala, oh she’s running for the vice presidency. I call her ‘Miss lock up a brother’ for when she was the AG in California. A negro knew; a black man knew that he was dead in the water … if you appear before her because she took pride in locking up black folk, and all of a sudden she’s trying to be sister girl,” Wooden said.

Last week, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden announced Harris as his running mate, making her the first black and South Asian American woman to run on a political party's presidential ticket.

Wooden argued, however, that the black community should not see her as any kind of savior.

“Check out her record. She locked us up left and right, yes she did. … She boasted she was one of the first to perform same-sex marriage,” he said before showing a clip of Harris performing a wedding for two lesbians.

“Now that … is who is supposed to deliver us? Are you crazy? I like what Maya Angelou says. She says when people show you who they are, believe them.

Why would an Indian be good for Black Americans? Indians hate Black Americans and Africans even more than White Americans

That was pretty damning, and he didn’t even get to the part about her sleeping her way to the top as an adulteress. Good stuff.

Black men never liked Kamala and still don't. However black women see her like they do Michelle....it's about the fact they're both women of color and female. ‘All’ black women have a victim mentality in one form or another even when they are successful in life.... Oprah and Michelle are perfect examples of black women who have still not overcome their victimized mentality and like other black male leaders have to keep their population victims.

Chameleon Harris in no way represents the Americans of African descent, the progeny of generations of slaves here in what eventually became the United States of America. Her genesis is far different, and predicated upon factors that never applied to those who had been born in and living in the US since birth, for generations.

Only by accident of location of birth, does the designation of “native-born” apply, a term that is still cloaked in political ambiguity. To compound that oddity of the law, her claim of being “black” is a very dilute claim indeed, being of mixed parentage on her father’s side, part white and part descended from a further racial mixture of the indigenous people of Jamaica and African slaves fetched to Jamaica in the 16th and 17th centuries, and the Tamil people of India on her mother’s side.

Bishop Patrick Wooden Sr., please turn in your race card. You are now a white man named Tom. Thank you, cordially, the DNC.

Wooden argued, however, that the black community should not see her as any kind of savior.

He should have told them the only black DNA in Harris came from Willie Brown.

I think that’s a rather broad statement. Do you have any proof?

How about a little respect for the woman. I’m sure it took a lot of backbreaking work to get where she is, excluding, of course the times she was on top.

Biden’s choice of Heels Up Harris will hurt rather than help him with the Black vote.

Now we really need to hammer home to White suburban women that Harris got ahead by banging a politically powerful married man who was over 30 years older than her. This will horrify and disgust them.
