President Trump is gaining ground nationally as Joe Biden’s (D) lead shrinks the week of the Democratic National Convention, Rasmussen Reports’ weekly White House Watch survey released Wednesday revealed.
The survey asked 2,500 likely voters, “If the presidential race in 2020 was between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, who would you vote for?”
The survey found 48 percent choosing Biden, and 44 percent backing the president. That represents a two-point shift in the president’s direction from last week’s survey, which had Biden up by six percentage points — 49 percent to Trump’s 43 percent.

You’re right. When an incumbent president is running for reelection, the job approval numbers for the president should be close to what the president will get in an election. There is something wrong with Rasmussen Reports this election.
If anything, I would think he should get more votes There are times when I would honestly have had to answer that I disapprove of the job Trump was doing. But there has never a time when I wouldn’t crawl over broken glass to vote for him again. I know I’m far from the only one.
OK,so Plugs is up by 75 in DC and 20 in Kalifornia,Neuevo York,Massachusetts and a few others.How about FL...PA...OH...MI...WI...and IA.all of which went Rat in ‘12 but were carried by the President?
Proud to say I was polled by Rasmussen within the past week, and gave President Trump 2 thumbs up.
I’m 71 years old...Have been a registered voter for 50 years..I have NEVER been polled....
+4 for Biden means he loses. Dem needs at least +5 on average to pull a win because of turn out.
Touchy (Joe Biden) is a dangerous authoritarian. And he will be in full control of setting up his new police force. Everyone needs to get out and vote Trump 2020
