New York City restaurants that have been staying afloat with outdoor patios and takeout service this summer may be forced to close when it turns cold this fall as local officials struggle to enforce the state’s orders to curb the coronavirus, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo warned Wednesday.
Unlike other parts of the state, restaurants and bars in the Big Apple have not been allowed to reopen indoor dining services. Some have been able to operate with expanded outdoor patios that Cuomo has said are safer.

Instead of giving Fauci the big megaphone and advancing billions and billions to evil Big Pharma, Trump should have leveled with the country early on. Said that it was a globalist plot, being executed in large part by state and local Dem officials, to put us all behind the New Iron Curtain.
I think only that phrase could coming forcefully from Trump (as it should have come nearly six months ago) can hope to wake Americans from their stupor.
Listen to escapees from Venezuela talk. How they never thought what happened would happen there. But once you’ve given over totalitarian power to totalitarians it is almost always too late to wrestle it back.
At this rate they will all be gone for good pretty soon.
He’s not listening to Dr. Fauci who says we need a consistent message from the top.
All planned to create a sense of chaos before the election.
Yet if you listen to all Dems reading from their talking points, they blame Trump for the chaos (they create). Shameful.
It’s ok. All their customers will have moved away anyway.

So don’t call them restaurants. Say they are nursing homes and Cuomo will send thousands of people to them.
Coumo was never really great.
The Guv is outraged there are still parts of the NY economy he hasn’t managed to smash yet.
The state’s unemployment rate is over 17%. In some areas, its even higher. Small businesses are dropping like flies.
Meanwhile, while crime is running amok in parts of the state, Cuomo recently sent out LE to visit over 1,000 businesses still trying to eke out a living to put the fear of Cuomo in them. Those 1,000+ visits were done state-wide in one day, BTW.
He has totally lost it! The budget is a mess. Winder if these elected officials will rescind their raise they gave themselves in April?

No, he’s let the states choose their strategy. When the truth about the pandemic is sorted out Trump is in excellent position to pounce on those that misled us.
But we have to admit, there’s not an obvious best path through the pandemic.
