We REALLY need to look into the Spanish Flu pandemic.
Just last night I ran across something in a book I just bought that got me thinking more, what the heck happened during the 1918 flu?
The book is “Sir Barton and the Making of the Triple Crown”.
It covers the match race between 2 prominent horses in 1918, in Laurel Maryland which is just 15 min from me now.
Here is the text...
“That same day (Oct 12) the MD State Board of Health closed many public places, including Laurel (Racecourse), because of the Spanish influenza outbreak......The ban on public assemblies lasted long enough that the match....was put on hold temporarily. When the flu epidemic abated, the MSBH lifted its ban on assemblies in public places on Oct 25....”
What? A state put a brief 2-week ban on public assembly during a major epidemic that actually killed millions around the world?
Why is it we have all this hysteria including months-long lock-downs and forced masking for what?
Most of them are still not willing to declare it openly.

I went to subway for lunch yesterday in East Ctrl MO a mile from I-44 and the only person wearing a mask was the kid making the sandwiches. No other workers and none of the dozen customers. MO has had 1,400 deaths since this started in March with more than half of them being in the St Louis and Stl metro area where dems live and work in labs, hospitals and nursing homes. No matter where I go, the only people wearing masks are those required to by their employers. No one’s really social distancing either. They might when they stand in a line but not when having a conversation.
How is it that we don’t have 10s of 1000s dead?
How is it that all cases and deaths are in the blue areas?
It’s a big hoax.
I’m sure there are some legitimate cases and deaths of 80+ year old people or unhealthy people but I think a good 70-90% of all cases/deaths are manufactured or outright fake.
Imagine how depressing it would be for people in other countries if they knew that this was all about the US election and that leftist politicians in other countries are just joining in with our leftist politicians because orange man bad and leftists world over want some global utopia that orange man is ruining.
Yet the ignorant distant Big Government governor continues to shut them down.
As the members of the Board smiled from ear to ear from behind their masks. And it was only with great difficulty that they controlled themselves and refrained from giving each other high fives and leaping from their seats cheering. They knew that their plan was working. They also had no fear because they fooled the idiots one time and when necessary, they would fool them again.
