The REGULAR FLU has a disproportionate and too often lethal effect on the YOUNG and immune impaired.
AND, we DON’T shut down the entire country, for months on end, bears of it.
We know the precautions on this one....protect the elderly and vulnerable (as in, don’t put COVID infected ppl in to nursing homes) keep a safe distance from non-family members and wash your hands.
Just curious....are you in agreement with the long term lockdowns we’ve had?

I would be interested in reading about the long term effective of C19 from someone other than politician and liar Dr. Faustus. A genuine doctor or scientist would have my interest. Dr. Faustus, not so much? I don’t believe a single word he says at this point.

Simple solution to the pandemic,,,,Make HCQ and Azithromycin OTC drugs so anyone who develops a cough and/or fever can go the nearest drug store and self medicate with the drugs along with Zinc Sulfate with correct dosage within 48 hours of symptoms and pandemic over.,,,,,instead of waiting a few days to get tested and 5 days for the results,,,,if over 60 years of age,,,,you’re dead.

seen has 100% selectivity.
and that is what i meant. not sensitivity.
more recent tests which look for the proteins

All viruses have an more serious effect on people with impaired immune systems, and older people are automatically among them, simply because T-cells decline with age. But the appropriate response would have been to seek rapid development of better therapies, ways of fortifying the immune system, etc. rather than panicking and destroying the lives and futures of the young by locking them down out of supposed concern for the elderly.

With the virus hitting 5 months ago, the term ‘long term’ could use some clarification. I would think a lot of folks think the typical ‘long term’ would indicate years, not months.
