Andrew Cuomo, the governor of the state with the most deaths from coronavirus due to his incompetent policies, at the Democratic National Convention on Monday night minimized COVID-19 and urged voters to look at the virus as a metaphor for our fractured times while praising himself for reducing the New York infection rate.
“Our way worked, and it was beautiful,” Cuomo said. It didn’t, and it wasn’t.

when you have the largest number of deaths and half were in Nursing homes based on your stupid policies, well I guess that's one way to reduce the number of living people infected.
Susan Sontag used to be a darling of the Left, in part because of her book “Illness as Metaphor” which made the case that it is a BAD idea to see illness a metaphor. It starts to make it seem like people get sick because they deserved it somehow. You gonna tell that to kids with cancer?

I heard the NJ death rate was so high because of all the New Yorkers who fled to New Jersey.
Coo-Mo is correct that The Virus didn’t cause these deaths in New York ... he did ... and his deliberate actions are the sole cause and he bears the sole responsibility for killing these people ... the virus was only the tool.
DeBlasio is a metaphor for a "rectum having just functioned and no toilet paper to clean up".
When every death is a political tool, they are all Wu-flu deaths.
This is an example of how, in a way, the media actually hurts the democrats.
Cuomo, evidently, is the last person to be let in on the joke. Therein lies the media’s fault. They created the myth that Cuomo believes but few others do.
Perhaps not, but around the country “Cuomo” is more than just a metaphor for a murderously incompetent governor. I’ve heard many people wondering when Barr will have a federal grand jury convened to look into Cuomo’s actions.
Murdering Cuomo is worse than the Mafia. At least, they had a moral code (of sorts). He is the consummate politician - rapist, thief and pervert. Who else but a politician would rape the country, rob old people of a peaceful life and pervert any moral code.
General population is too good for him. Draw and quarter seems appropriate.

The Bible says the rain falls on the just and unjust. Good people have bad stuff happen to them, bad people seem to live on forever.
I lived it when my daughter in law got Non hodgekins lymphoma at age 19, one year after getting married to my son. They were church going people, did not take drugs, a very good girl in everyway. She almost died at that young age, but lived on got pregnant about a year after she was cancer free, now my grandson is 13!
That is what Ps. 37 and 73 are about: why do the wicked flourish and the righteous suffer.
The only consolation is that God is still on the throne and if the wicked do not repent (for He is not willing that any perish but that all should come to repentance, for He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, Ezek. 33:11; II Pet. 3:9.) their judgment will be very unpleasant.

Cuomo is trying to invert his slaughter of elderly New Yorkers into a tale of heroism. It’s as if Hitler portrayed himself a champion of the Jews.
He calls the Chinese Virus the European Virus. Pure evil spits from his forked tongue, he is a slave of Satan, the base Ego of Mankind.
