The reason Miller was so effective was that he was driven from the Democrat party because of their harmful policies. The Never Trumpers are just having temper tantrums, and are pretending that they're still conservatives.

These folks like Kassich, Romney, George Will and others who always try to be middle-of-the-road don’t realize that there is no longer a middle and if the Democrats win, they will arrange it so they never lose an election again. So this is probably the last election we’ll have that means anything.
