Several former Republican leaders are slated to speak on the first night of this years Democratic National Convention, including former U.S. New York Rep. Susan Molinari, who once spoke at the Republican National Convention, and former Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a frequent Trump critic who ran for president in 2016.
Former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman and former Hewlett Packard CEO Meg Whitman are also on the list of GOP speakers expected to give remarks virtually on Monday night.
Democratic National Committee spokeswoman Xochitl Hinojosa told the Yahoo News podcast Skullduggery on Monday that the theme of the convention is uniting America.
We believe that its important that we make sure were including everyone and not excluding everyone, Hinojosa told Yahoo News. We understand that regardless of who you voted for in 2016, or whether you voted in a Democratic primary, or whether you have never voted all, its important to bring everybody together. Thats the only way we win.
Whitman, the first Republican speaker listed in the Democrats announcement, was New Jerseys governor from 1994 to 2001 and served as the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency under President George W. Bush.
Molinari, who served in Congress in the 1990s and was a top GOP leader, was the keynote speaker at the Republican convention in 1996. She slammed then-President Bill Clintons leadership during her speech, telling the crowd that his promises have the life span of a Big Mac on Air Force One.
The former Google lobbyist also donated money to a nonprofit handling President Trumps transition in 2017, the Center for Public Integrity reported.
When asked how the DNC landed Molinari, Hinojosa said people are frustrated with Donald Trump right now.

The reason Miller was so effective was that he was driven from the Democrat party because of their harmful policies. The Never Trumpers are just having temper tantrums, and are pretending that they're still conservatives.
Guess they haven’t been paying attention. Nobody...NOBODY cares what GOPe “leadership” has to say. That goes for Dem and Repub voters.
Who cares,,,,nobody is interested in the Dem’s Convention....
Yup, big part of what they hate about Trump is just that. Add to that, he told them they were dumb and it was easy to fix...Then proved it. Of course the fact that they wanted him stopped and were not able to do it. Finally, they all predicted his Presidency would be a disaster so they’ve worked tirelessly to see that it is... Another failure of theirs
These folks like Kassich, Romney, George Will and others who always try to be middle-of-the-road don’t realize that there is no longer a middle and if the Democrats win, they will arrange it so they never lose an election again. So this is probably the last election we’ll have that means anything.
They can portray themselves as “bipartisan” in campaign ads.
What is he going to sell, socialism & abortion?
GTH, Kasich, you traitorous Rat.
Kasich and Romney are the DemonRats cucks.
The HCQ guys would be great, along w/Gohmert, also. And Leo Terrel, a lifelong dem and civil rights attorney, has left the dems and is now supporting Trump and wearing maga gear whenever he is on TV!!
Notable cases
In 1995, Terrell represented Kumasi Simmons, a former football player from Centennial High School in Compton expelled for hitting a referee. Simmons accused the referee of using racial epithets.[16][17] Terrell accused the Beverly Hills Police Department of intimidating witnesses who could back up Simmons’s claim.[18]
In 1999, Terrell called on the Los Angeles police commission to hear witnesses who claimed that a homeless woman, Margaret Laverne Mitchell, was running when police officers shot her.[19]
In 2012, Terrell called for an investigation of misconduct by trainees of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.[20]
Read my lips ...folks....no one is watching this political farce..period....”BORING”!!!
