A group of 75 community members peacefully protested at York Catholic High School on Saturday after a student was told he couldnt wear a Black Lives Matter mask to graduation, the York Daily Record reported.
Protestors marched from the Veterans Memorial Gold Star Healing and Peace Garden to the York Catholic High School, where speakers told stories about the administrations alleged discrimination against Black students and members of the LGBTQ community.
The senior, Dean Holmes, told the Daily Record that he wore the mask to graduation practice and was never told to take it off. On the day of graduation, July 28, administrators told him to remove the mask.
And then they pulled me out of line and they said, Dean, we can get you another mask the issue was definitely the Black Lives Matter on the mask, he told the Daily Record.
The school said in a letter that each graduate was given a face shield to be worn in lieu of a face mask and that just two other graduates chose to wear face masks with their face shields. School board chairman Arthur Full added that Holmes did not seek permission to wear a face mask in addition to the face shield, nor was the face mask worn at all during the 45 minutes prior to the processional portion of the ceremony, the story said.

More commie thuggery.
It’s a Catholic school. I expect caving and apology will follow very soon.
Maybe, maybe not.
I was pretty low staging the protest on the Holy Day of Obligation of the Assumption of Mary...which just “happened” (”thanks”, AG Josh Shapiro [Jew]/s) to be the anniversary of releasing a pedophile Priest exposé report.
It just happens so frequently. I pray they stick with their decision without apology. A bit of intolerance is needed to help stiffen backbones.
