This month, someone left an anonymous note on my home, and on several lampposts around my block, telling me to delete a tweet the stalker didnt like.
The printed black-and-white note added the leftist refrain hate has no place here and accused me of celebrating the deaths in the explosion in Beirut.
Of course I had done no such thing. I had mocked the idea that it was a fireworks factory that had exploded, a lie disproved as more details emerged.
The stalker either misunderstood it or willfully misread my tweet. My bet is the latter. She had been waiting for me to say something even mildly offensive so she could pounce. Coming to my physical space was a threat, as opposed to, say, responding on Twitter, and thats exactly how I took it.Too bad for her, I am not new to harassment. Ive gotten anti-Semitic hate mail at my house. Ive had neo-Nazis text me. Ive had to turn off notifications on Twitter because of all the random hate. If she imagined that I would cower to a progressive fascist like her, she imagined wrong.
Still, the action is unnerving, because its the logical next step of the spreading cancel culture and the mad progressive rush to shut down offending speech. Ive written in these pages about how people come for your job when they dont like something youve said. Last August, I wrote about how conservative public figures are largely outside of this leftist circular firing squad.
Because they cant come for our jobs, they do things like leave anonymous notes on our homes to threaten us into silence.

In the Soviet Union, you had to espouse the correct opinion or else.
The bullys goal is conformity: You will think like us, or you will be targeted and harassed.

Call the ADL. I’m sure they’ll tell you that you are a White Supremacist.
Worth repeating again and again. "Diversity," "inclusion?" Nonsense! It's all about silencing and destroying the opposition.
Tell them to F-off! We need more of this response and less of compliance. Tell the football players the same thing.
We need to push back harder than they are pushing.
Like all bullies, they won’t stop bullying unless they get the bloodied nose.
Anything less and they simply see it as a sign of weakness and it’s blood in the water to them.
We must arm up and lose our fear of cutting human flesh.
It’s about survival, now.
Rarely does a bloody nose get the job done.
What does work is to end the fight by destroying their mind, crushing their spirit, inflicting injuries that ensure perpetual physical pain, and leaving them alive, forever frightened of the next terrifying blow, as a reminder to all the other would-be bullies.
Never start a fight. But if forced to fight ensure you have the knowledge, tools, and most importantly, will, to beat your opponent to the point they think they are going to die, and then to the point where they are afraid they will live. At that point, the fight is over, and the threat is neutralized.
no one here yas any fear cutting human flesh
the problem is too much of society and its leaders legally back the crybullies, as pols, as officers, as court judges, district attorneys, etc
and are waiting for the opportunity to throw you in jail for defending yourself
This is off topic but I’m a little worried after a postal worker (called me on the phone) went hysterical Karen on me and said that if she saw me at the post office again that shed call the police and say that I was harassing her. I had to fill out a Customer Satisfaction Survey for my case and of course I left out no details and the only thing I strongly agreed with was that she quickly responded to my problem.... This psycho chick knows where I live...
p
Not really off topic.
It may take you a while, but you might call around and try to contact a U.S. Postal Inspector who will listen (some, won’t).
Because you may be at a threshold where a USPS employee is either, or both: harrassing you, intimidating you.
U.S. Postal Inspectors will usually only be interested in the commission of a crime.
But if you sense that you may be confronted by a USPS employee who is manipulating the commercial interchange between the employee (in an official capacity across a counter top) and you, it may be better for you to find a U.S. Postal Inspector who has some wisdom.
And, if you can, use some other USPS facility.
The fact is the guy provoking a fight is no doubt several decades younger and would like nothing better than to kick some geezers ass or do away with him or her entirely.
There is a time and a place to keep one’s head down in order to survive, something I learned in my senior trip to SE Asia.
This is one of those times..
Vote, support your candidate's financially spread the word with folks you trust..
As I learned through experience, the winner is the one who thinks and knows when to duck...
You’ve got my interest. Could you give us a little more information? Like what set her off?
WELCOME TO FREE REPUBLIC
USPS employees are determined to steal this election. They are being told by their union leadership that they can change the course of history.
I’m voting absentee ballot because I have to, but I will mail it anywhere but near my home address.
The mail carriers’ union may prove to be more dangerous to America than BLM/Antifa.
Hate is natures way of weeding out weakness in a society. Weaklings and cowards always leave notes and then scurry away with their tail between their legs because they are to gutless to do otherwise.
Indeed.
You are quite correct.
