WHAT? East Portland(Portland east/Boise) was upset about the billboard? Because it was up or because it was taken down. Okay Idahoans, have at it.

The local Lamar Boise page had accumulated at least 110 negative reviews on Facebook before the review feature was turned off by Facebook.

Kommissar Zuckerberg will allow no opposing viewpoints. Your silent compliance is mandatory.

That’s right, the Irish, German, Russian, Jewish, Italian, Polish, Asian, (I can keep going) populations of this country had nothing to do with building our country. I guess they just say on their a$$ and watched while black and brown people did all the hard work. Yeah....

Oh, and I will be in your way. Get out of mine!

Overt racism.
Disgusting.
Would LAMAR put up a billboard advocating white supremacy?

I just wrote to Lamar Advertising in Boise and told them I will NEVER buy a product I see advertised on a Lamar billboard.

Pleas write to Larry Alder, General Manager, Boise.

Idaho (my hopefully future home state), is the last place I would expect such a sign. Granted; it is Boise, so I am sure there are a lot of carpetbagger snowflakes attending college there, but this is still a shock to see.

Not only is the billboard inaccurate; it is racist and openly threatens violence. Change the words 'black and brown' to white and the media would be apoplectic with outrage.

Hopefully this agency is strongly 'incentivized' to leave Idaho and set up shop in a more "woke" environment such as portland or seattle.

I was born and raised in Nampa, just 20 miles west of Boise. Black and brown people had nothing to do with building that area. There may be a lot of Mexicans working agriculture today, but when it was being built up, it was white people who did that building. My family has been in Idaho over 100 years.

Some of these companies are so effing greedy...They’ll do anything for a buck, even try to pimp out their own mother.

Like open borders and cheap labor....Profits regardless of consequences...

the black contribution to building the country was less of a contribution than horses, mules, and oxen made. Plus, the horses, mules, and oxen never gave us any trouble.

Moved to Idaho from N California last year

Since I’ve been here I have learned that Boise is almost as bad as Seattle in their liberalism

If lefties keep moving to it from liberal places, in 10 years Democrats will own the state because Boise is already the most populated place in the state

Here is the company response and I think the employee should be fired:

“Yesterday, we mistakenly displayed an advertisement on one of our Boise area billboards. Had we properly vetted the copy through our sensitive copy approval process, we would have rejected it.

Unfortunately, due to employee oversight, the proper procedures were not followed in this case. Once management was made aware of the situation, we immediately removed the ad. Lamar does not endorse the content of the ad, and we apologize for our error in displaying it.

We are currently reminding our managers across the country about our copy acceptance procedures to ensure that any and all sensitive copy is reviewed and vetted properly in accordance with Lamar’s policy.”
