Today I watched it on Fox Tv so I could tape it. Doing Chores and taking breaks, so wanted to be able to listen to the whole thing later while sitting in my recliner. Good thing too, because the link to white house video didn’t ever start on my computer.
I been reading about those polls and they blow my mind.
Trump is leading in economics. But Biden is leading in the poll as best to deal with the coronavirus.
This blows my mind! Trump has been dealing with this awful virus for almost six months. Anybody paying any attention would not want Biden in charge. Biden, who at first faulted Trump for shutting down the flights in from China and the American public prefers Biden over Trump to manage this thing?
Something here makes no sense.
But it’s why Trump has to constantly say the progress of handling the virus, just to keep it out there.
Because the media has been allowed to whip-up massive waves of butt puckering fear. Because Pence totally lost control of his task force and it’s messaging.
He needs to get Scott Atlas out on a “Straight Talk About COVID” speaking tour, he really does.

Anyway, I did not know that Pence lost the task force.
Second, who is Scott Atlas?
The ending was the best. He is doing this because he is using the bully pulpit. On YouTube 10 minutes after the briefing he had 222K views and 2K likes. He is countering Biden’s lies.
Sorry, since this thread is kind of stream of consciousness sometimes I end up posting to myself.
Dr. Scott Atlas is the outside doctor from Stanford that Trump added to the task force last week. He does not agree with Fauci and Birx on a wide array of issues. This is a move that should be celebrated.
Pence losing control of the task force is my opinion. He should have been putting out calm, fact-based information every day to calm the panic. Instead they went quiet for several weeks and the media ran wild. He also should have put a muzzle on Fauci who reports to him.
There have been 5 million-plus cases and 160,000-plus deaths. Trump can say that things could have been a whole lot worse without his actions, and that can't be proved one way or the other. Biden can say he would have done a lot better and we would have had far fewer cases and far fewer deaths, and again that can't be proven. People are looking for a solution and go with the better story I guess.

Well I did not know that Fauci reported to him. I do recall a long time when there were no task force reports.
I also not Pence is no longer in charge so much.

Trump’s ultimately responsible for all the Fauci and vaccine crap. Atlas is great, but so far no sign of Fauci getting muzzled and Atlas featured.
Those numbers are horribly inflated. Trump could indeed have been truthful about all this all along and not promoted Birx and Fauci daily for months. Unfortunately he didn’t.
Now too many people have the impression that he didn’t do enough, when really he hasn’t exposed enough while allowing too much medical fascism—in large part directed from the UN’s WHO.
Did the FBI get any worthwhile evidence from him in exchange for the guilty plea? Probably not.
Today Fauci made a public statement that, quote:
THERE IS NO REASON WHY IN-PERSON VOTING CAN’T TAKE PLACE THIS FALL.
That may be the one reason why Trump kept him around. A Faustian bargain to cut the legs out from under the mail-in ballot scam. Give Trump this in exchange for lining your pockets with millions in vaccine profits.
If the Dems now suddenly turn on Dr. Tony we’ll have our answer.
Right. Just like all those Big Tech CEOs told Trump and Jared and Ivanka over the past several years that they wouldn’t become biased censors of social media and search for the election.

When I heard that reporters question I laughed......Trump loves a challenge but really now...I don’t think Harris is a challenge whatsoever. Besides he’s running against Biden....though no doubt Harris has itchyness she could take over as Pres. should Biden fall completely apart or bow out.
