Texas' biggest political festival has unveiled its 2020 lineup, and it's once again filled with political power players and big-name policy makers.
Granted, the Texas Tribune Festival will (like everything) look different this year, and for its 10th anniversary, the fest is trading the traditional weekend-long format in downtown Austin for 30 days of special virtual programing.
The events, notes an August 11 release, will be a mix of both live and streaming sessions running from September 1-30. Over the course of the month, Trib Fest says it will welcome 250 speakers and host 100 different sessions on topics covering everything from the 2020 election and the coronavirus pandemic to marijuana reform and feminism.

This whole thing is horrible for kids, since becoming part of society is really the most important thing you learn...making friends, defining your moral values, connecting with your future. Kids honestly cannot do that sitting in front of a screen.
Also, I think there’s going to be a lot of psychological damage done by teaching small, susceptible young children that everybody walking towards them on the street is a potential killer who will infect them with something that will kill them and their entire family. It’s false. insane and Trump has got to get people out there who can stop the hysteria.
Totally agree. They do need to be locked up, and Trump made a serious mistake (will go down as one of history’s great mistakes, I’m afraid) In trusting them.
He’s got to get rid of them NOW and try to save what’s left of our society.
Things will be different and in some cases perhaps better because of some things we have discovered (for example, you don’t have to live in NYC to work there, and you can live some place nice but still keep your job) . But unless he does something soon there’ll be nothing to save. This second round of shutdowns and masking is killing the businesses that had managed to reopen, and of course, the looting and rioting is the nail in the coffin.
I think he should be more aggressive in that, too. He tried and the city and state governments refused, but I think even some of them are realizing that things can’t go on like that. Their salary is paid by taxpayers, but if all the taxpayers leave or have their businesses destroyed...well, you can’t get blood from a turnip.

Fauci is supposed to be a civil service scientist, not a politician. Republican should be on him for this like a ton of bricks.

Fauci sponsored this pandemic with the grants for gain of function research that he gave to the Wuhan lab.
I this a hole begins promoting any candidate, he has committed a felony violation of Hatch Act and should be prosecuted. Put him in a cell with some positive chicom virus criminal.
