Sunset Park in Brooklyn is seeing an “uptick” in coronavirus cases — with 228 people testing positive for COVID-19 in the past two weeks, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Wednesday.
The mayor said the pocket of positive cases was found through “hyperlocal testing” by the city’s Test and Trace Corps.
“It’s over a very limited period of time, it’s a very limited number of cases,” de Blasio said at his daily press briefing. “We now have a warning light. We have a sign there’s something going on we want to know more about.”

Uptick = lock it down for another 5 months!!! 228 more cased and dumb blasio says that is a warning light? I hate these people. Testing means crap. Deaths and people going to the hospital are key
Cases? Who cares. And even if it’s deaths, is it an uptick from one - to two?
That’s not national news. Hell, it’s not even local news.
DeBlasio and Cuomo will use this to lock down NYC. They will use it to not open schools, demand mandatory testing of everyone. They will find a way to expand the uptick to other areas too. Their fascists colleagues in other states will be watching.
Honestly, who cares? People get it and the 99.9% will recover.
