Would it be possible to start up a new IT company, say in Texas, and avoid hiring non-citizens (Americans only), give a decent salary (and promote it as “(I.T.) Made in the USA”), and still be legal?

Caste is partially detectable by name - remember that "caste" was a way for different ethnicities to co-mingle. So a "Reddy" will be a different caste from a "Nair" (don't ask me which is "higher" or not) -- and note that this also varies from Indian state to Indian state

That's because each Indian state is really a separate nation - with a different language, ethnicity, etc.

For instance the Tamils from Chennai/Madras speak Tamil, a Dravidian language that dates back nearly 3000 years and is as old as Sanskrit. This is NOT an Indo-European tongue but is more related to Sumerian or Elamite

Ethnically or racially they are Caucasian like 97% of Indians, but within the Caucasian group they are "Dravidian" so different from the Indo-Europeans/Aryans

Culturally they have significant differences with the Punjabis

Religiously about 10% to 20% are Christian and even the Hindus have different gods from the other nations in India

India truly is the "union of India" - a multi-national country with 23 official languages.

As you can see most of these not only have their own language but their own script as different as Cyrillic is from Latin

Hubby’s mom’s family immigrated to the US in the early 1900’s. Within one generation the men were employed and everyone was fluent in English. They became Americans. I’m all for that kind of immigration.
