Dr. Anthony Fauci pushed for the “universal wearing of masks” in a televised interview, in which he said the viral image of schoolchildren crowding a Georgia school hallway was “disturbing.”
“There should be universal wearing of masks,” Fauci said on ABC’s “World News Tonight” on Monday when asked about reopening schools.
“There should be the extent possible social distancing, avoiding crowds. Outdoors [is] always better than indoors and [you should] be in a situation where you continually have the capability of washing your hands and cleaning up with sanitizers,” he said.

Quack Fauci also claimed that two homosexual strangers pounding each other in the butt in a public bathroom is OK but kissing your spouse may be a risk.
Time to get back to the old normal. If a student gets the virus, he’ll stay home for week or two, just as he would if he had the flu, and return to school. No need to close down the school everytime a kid tests positive.
That school is no online learning after 9 cases were reported.
What is the student enrollment of this school?

Scotland does not have powerful teachers unions and lawyers circling like vultures.
“Nine people — six students and three faculty members — have since tested positive for the coronavirus, the school in Dallas, Georgia, informed parents on Saturday.”....”The school was closed as a result of the infections and the district announced it would move learning online for Monday and Tuesday.”
As opposed to simply being sure the three faculty members and six students stay out of school for at least 14 days, offer free testing to the rest of the teachers and staff, and keeping the school open. They have found the nine people were the heart of any problem and no need to punish everyone else by keeping the school closed. As for “remote” learning, just put the actual classroom on the remote learning app and the kids at home can follow and keep up with what’s happening in the classroom.

Reopening schools will not happen if they are closed at the drop of a feather, i.e., whenever there are positive tests, even if no student has serious symptoms.
Masks do nothing in the long term. Let the children pass around the virus while the bleaching sun burns hot and helps produce Vitamin D. Let the young and healthy become immune. We can only make the spread of the virus take longer; we can do nothing to prevent it.

Just like to add that the herd immunity approach is acceptable here because the disease is not serious enough to kill or maim the herd. Sure, there are exceptions, but kids fall into the low risk category. This is not ebola or the pox.
It’s “disturbing” to him because it will destroy the narrative. When the masses discover that this virus is really no worse than seasonal flu the jig is up.
