An armed citizenry could stop someone driving a car into a store front, but gun control can do nothing to stop it. How about car control, only allow licensed drivers to steal cars and drive them into store fronts.

If guns were the problem, those "other parts of Illinois" would have the same murder rate that you do. The fact that they don't, in spite of their easier access to guns, means that it is a BEHAVIOR problem.

I guess she forgot that Chicago is one of the most “gun control laws” city that there is. The only way for more is to have the police conduct a search of every person and building in the city limits and seizure of what they find. The gang bangers might resist, especially since they out number the police 2 or 3 to 1.
