About 30 seconds worth here outside of Columbia.
Unless it’s over 6.5 it isn’t nothing.
Nuthin felt here in the foothills of the Appalachians of N Ga.
Is that what I felt here in Gainesville Georgia? Small undulations of my chair. Thought my subwoofer was malfunctioning.
I felt a rumbling at about 8:08am EST, for maybe 3-4 seconds. Actually woke me up...
Felt it in the Raleigh, NC area.
The 4th in past two days for Sparta
It was kinda cool. Not a roller here in Cabarrus County but a couple of jolts. Shook the china and water moved.
Quake located about 100mi NNW
I just hope folks near the center are OK.
For the record, the mountains and ridges around Sparta are where many many of America’s Christmas trees are grown.
In fact, they actually export the trees abroad
Felt in Greer, SC - 4 hours from epicenter. Bed shook for about 7-8 seconds.
Who had, ‘Earthquake in South Carolina’ on their ‘2020 Disaster Bingo’ card?
Im right up here at the epicenter. VERY strong boom followed by shaking for a few moments. The house actually felt as though it dropped briefly. Very unusual for here. Sent security cam video to several Charlotte news outlets who reached out.
I felt it North of Raleigh. 10-15 seconds of a gentle rolling motion on a north-south axis. Not worth getting our of my chair.
That’s a pretty spiffy one at Mag 5.1.
I didn’t feel it but some of my neighbors near dowtown Atlanta felt a shake.
Saw some local news coverage of the damage. All they could find was one place where road pavement was buckled enough to warrant traffic cones and photos from inside someone’s house showing stuff thrown off the shelves laying on the floor and a few picture frames knocked off the walls.
