Hasn’t helped in other countries, no difference between lockdowns and staying open.
Zero hospitalizations in many Upstate NY counties. A statewide positivity rate of under 1%.
Try this crap in NYS again.
I dare you.
Not the 1930s,the 1830s!
And then he can be the Assistant Director of tax enforcement under President Nanzi Pelosi!
And if this theory doesnt work, will Kashkari pay everyone back for lost money?
9 Aug: Daily Mail: IAN BIRRELL: Why Sweden, pilloried by the whole world for refusing to lock down - with schools staying open and no face mask laws - may be having the last laugh as experts say Stockholm is close to achieving herd immunity
Swedish health experts say struggle against pandemic is ‘marathon not a sprint’
The country has one of the highest death rates from coronavirus in the world
Anders Tegnell’s refusal to impose lockdown is held up by critics as a warning
But is it possible the Scandinavian nation made the right call in the long-term?
Yet Sweden is seeing a sustained drop in cases, with some experts even suggesting it may be close to herd immunity in the capital Stockholm.
The number of deaths, new cases and patients in intensive care has fallen dramatically.
On one key measure percentage change in new confirmed cases over the past fortnight relative to the previous 14 days Sweden is down more than a third.
This contrasts with sharp rises in neighbouring Denmark, Finland and Norway, along with countries such as Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.
Meanwhile, the latest data suggests Sweden is suffering less severe economic trauma than most major European nations, while it has, almost uniquely among Western countries, kept schools open...
Prof Ekstrom added that evidence from elsewhere indicated that lockdowns were unsustainable. You go crazy after a while, she said...
It fell 8.6 per cent over the second quarter compared with a 12 per cent fall across the Eurozone. Analysts fear the UK economy may shrink 20 per cent over this period.
Its grim by any normal standards but compared with other parts of Europe they have done well, said David Oxley, senior Europe analyst at Capital Economics. Swedens big exporters are seeing profits decline smaller than anticipated while there are fewer bankruptcies than feared...
If a business can stay open, its clearly better than closing, said Esbjorn Lundevall, an analyst at Scandinavian bank SEB.
He added that keeping schools open provided a significant economic boost...

How about no?
There, fixed it....
We have many domestic enemies, all working to take down PDJT.
Seems we need a new Fed President in MN.
In reality, we are all ex-spurts able to speak knowledgeably on any subject.
anyone stupid enough to live in Minneapolis
should clean feces in SF for Pelosi,
and not be a Fed President.
Neel Kashkari <==== failure
The virus has been so politicized by various factions that it’s hard to determine what course of action (to defeat the virus) would be best. No matter what Trump does, he will be attacked by opponents for doing the wrong thing, and CERTAINLY not what they, in their perfect wisdom, would have done. If Trump had kept the economy on course with no lockdowns, no masks, then every death would have been laid at his feet. That would be tough to overcome even though his presidential opponent is, for all practical purposes, a child.
When all the political dust has settled, we need laws in place to reflect reality when this situation hits again. (And, it has been such a powerful political tool, it is guaranteed to come back again year after year if we don’t institutionalize a sane response by law.)
He likely is paid $250,000 per year plus the best bennies and vacay...to spew this commie crap...let that marinate...
They had to come up with another panic lie before the election.
If we do that for covid, and it works, we can do that for the flu?
Good luck with that eel!
How about locking down blue state governors for 6 weeks?
