San Francisco is one of the most iconic cities in America. However, just a few blocks away from the Golden Gate Bridge are scenes from the third world.
This week, Benny Johnson visited San Francisco and saw the HORRIFYING reality that leftist policies have created for those living in the once prosperous and beautiful city. San Francisco has descended into downright third world conditions under Nancy Pelosi’s representation over three DECADES. Homelessness, poverty, drugs and filth are rampant.
This district should serve as a reminder to you of what happens under socialist leadership. This is what all of America will look like if you allow leftists to continue to control and take over your country. What future do you want, America? CHOOSE WISELY.

I went there for a conference every year from about 1980 to 1998 and I loved the city. I went back last Fall and saw excrement on the street, people passed out in doorways, used needles in the gutters. I will never go back. What’s wrong with you people? Vote the people in charge out and try something new.

I defy anyone to explain to me that the policies championed by all the entities I listed above are not solely responsible for this hideous atrocity visited on what was once a beautiful city, long ago.
Was there in the city,s heyday in the 19 70s I remember calling my friends back in Ohio and telling them that I felt like I’d landed in heaven it was that beautiful.

They are oiberals. They are all stuck on stupid! The only thing that will fix San Fran will unfortunately require a 10.0 earthquake.
It’s a bit of a stretch to call the Tenderloin (the neighborhood featured in this video) a “few blocks” from the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s actually approximately 5 miles away.
But other than that the video is valid. I’m in S.F., though thankfully a neighborhood where this isn’t a significant problem (yet).
The city being a campground for thousands of homeless began in the late ‘80s under Mayor Art Agnos, a liberal do-gooder who followed Feinstein. DiFi for all of her faults wasn’t that bad on homeless, law & order. In terms of national politics, Feinstein is a leftist, but in S.F. she’s the right wing. Agnos was one-termer who was replaced by former cop Frank Jordan who did make some minor progress in cleaning things up. Jordan was in turn defeated by Kamala’s ex Willie Brown. Things continuously worsened under him and his successors Gavin Newsom and Ed Lee. And current mayor London Breed is just clueless.
Why not call it what it has become, a shithole.
Not scenes from a third world city or town. Just a pure shithole.
But, Nancy cannot take the fault for the problem alone. The people in the district voted to keep her in congress for so long, so, you reap what you sow. The people there saw what a shithole San Francisco was becoming, and they didn’t care. Same thing with Harlem and other areas where democrats rule or fail to govern properly.

If you house them, feed them, clothe them, give them drugs and needles, let them do whatever they want including pooping and peeing on the sidewalks... they will come!
Watching this video, along with every vile thing the left is doing, has caused me to come to a epiphany-like realization:

I don’t why this video made me think of that except for the fact that “if” and “but” was used continually as EXCUSES for why these hell holes are allowed to exist.
I just hope Pelosi raises her hand, wanting to be first to tell God why she deserves eternal life. She’s going to have a list of “if” and “but” to argue her point. Until she reads the sign NO CONJUCTIONS ALLOWED
No wonder the current journalists do not want “objective” reporting. No one can view this complete failure of leadership and think “Yes, we need more of this.” Even those who pretend to care about the homeless can possibly think this is acceptable.
I lived there on and off 1973 to 1977. It was a magical and safe place.
Tony Bennett needs to update the lyrics to fit present circumstances.
