40 seconds of explosion porn that we have all seen.
But I have finally found an analysis of the timing of the blast wave, and it seems to confirm that it was a pressure wave, not a shock wave.
In short, it looks like a fast moving wavefront, but it is not a true shock wave that one would get from military type explosions.
I will search again - but if you have it in your history please copy me on the thread.
Especially if there is any proof that it was more than AN plus “fireworks”.
My personal bet was on Iranian and Hezbollah personnel fueling rockets, which started the fire and explosions. So far I can't promote the idea with the information found.
Much appreciated.
I am pretty bad at searching things I don’t have a headline for but I will try. I think it was up yesterday.
The Port of Beirut was the most corrupt area in all of Lebanon.
I am still wondering if the Mossad did it from the inside.

Sorry. I didn’t notice my Amp was on “11” when I turned it on.
And where did all these tons of ammonium nitrate come from?
I usually use hay bales for my concerts.
A little humor. Very little.
Beirut has been a war zone for a million years. Faceless buildings, rubble in the streets, bullet holes in any vertical structure and now the populace gets mad?
Maybe they’ll kick out a few terror organizations and rebuild their country that once was a tourist destination of beauty, history and charm.
Could be too late.
As an engineer who has actually measured shock waves from explosions and projectiles, it looked like a shock wave to me.
Enough AN will produce a shock wave.
The link does not lead to the analysis quoted.
I don't think AN is well suited to use either as a missile propellant or a warhead explosive.
There are distinct flashes in the smoke from the fire before the main explosion. Either military explosives or fireworks come to mind. Storing either near than much AN is just plain stupid.
All the accounts of the history of the AN leave out some big issues. Who paid for unloading the ship and who was paying the warehouse fees for storing the AN? Who actually owned the AN? Answer those questions and things will become a lot more clear.
I’d seen video but not your compilations.
FPS? Calc this, calc that. I appreciate your attempted explanation but there were at least TWO separate detonations.
Sorry but I what I saw was an explosion (bomb/missle?) and then massive secondary explosions.
That’s what you get when you bomb a munitions factory and everything blows everything else up.
With that level of devastation, I doubt the local CSI is going to figure it out conclusively.
Whatever the cause having all that tonnage of ammonium nitrate in one big pile in anything except a deserted desert was criminal. Sigh.

The human body can survive relatively high blast overpressure without experiencing barotrauma. A 5 psi blast overpressure will rupture eardrums in about 1% of subjects,
and a 45 psi overpressure will cause eardrum rupture in about 99% of all subjects. The threshold for lung damage occurs at about 15 psi blast overpressure. A 35-45 psi
overpressure may cause 1% fatalities, and 55 to 65 psi overpressure may cause 99% fatalities.
I also suspect that the warehouse and underground structures were being used by Iran and Hezbollah to prep missiles, and to plan for a big boom sometime in the future.
Thankfully Israel has not given them the chance to attack from the sea with a huge bomb.
As to the multiple detonations? Absolutely, at least two major explosions, including the final AN. My question is - what caused the AN to go boom so forcefully? I would have thought that it was too scattered to have one major detonation like a single weapon. Perhaps that is the source of the two detonations - a smaller AN and the rest of the AN.
And it could have been an ANFO explosion ... but why if accidental? I can believe a work accident by Hezbollah, but I do not think that Israel was behind it.
That is an impressive graph!
That is an impressive graph!
A poster posted a website with the blast from those in ig rises, with sound.....the site is ‘Bit-? something a rather....it had several that were really great...those filming got hit hard with the blast wave and didn’t see it coming.

After re-reading his threads, the theory that what ignited the AN to blow was octogen rocket fuel that Iran stored in the catacombs beneath the port makes sense.
Although I love the Sky News Australia reporterette comparing the smugglers tunnels to “panic rooms” makes no sense at all. Unless she is regurgitating what she is told, so that she can get out of there alive.
