At our costco you can show them a mask...then shop without wearing one. No one says a thing. Some will think you are Typhoid Mary but they can back off. It clears the way for the cart. Weak, panic-prone losers.
Don’t forget to add Klinefelter Syndrome, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, and Cooties.
If you’re going to spread misinformation and fearmongering not based on any evidence whatsoever, at least have some fun with it.
Seriously. Some people need to brush their teeth more often. At least daily for starters.
Masks are only meant to be worn for 4 hours (at most), then disposed of. Covid is 3 microns in size and passes through most masks like a comet through a solar system

I’ll tell you how I reacted in a similar situation in Walmart. I’m an early 70’s year old woman who doesn’t walk well, so I was shopping using an electric cart. I don’t wear a mask inside stores as it impedes my breathing (medical reason). I was with my nephew (he’s older too, but had a mask on, even though he has asthma).
I’m going down an aisle, minding my own business (no one can get very close to me as I’m on an electric cart) when some middle aged plain Jane KAREN biddy comes up to me wagging her finger at me and telling me that my not wearing a mask is potentially killing her, blah, blah, etc. Well, I’ve been lying in wait for such a person and I proceeded to go ballistic on her.
She probably didn’t expect a hostile reaction from an older woman on an electric cart, but she was wrong. I started yelling at her to mind her own business, that I wasn’t an idiot like her, breathing a multitude of germs in and out through her skimpy paper mask, that they were worthless to prevent virus as the germs are miniscule and can go right through her mask as she fiddles with it. That she probably keeps using the same one over and over, etc. etc. and that she didn’t know me from an Adam’s apple, nor my personal health situation.
She then swears at me and keeps up her wear a mask rap, so I raise my voice up even higher and lit into her with every swear word in my repertoire as she backed away from me as if I was mad. I was mad all right, and was virtually shouting at her to get the *x,e9x.-d” away from me and mind her own business. I yelled at her all the way down the aisle as she backed away; just to hammer home the experience to her so that she would think twice before trying her confrontational baloney again on some other person perhaps more timid than myself.
I saw her once again by the checkout counter, but merely glared and ignored her existence. Hope my “technique” to curb her PC mouth from inflicting herself on any other person in a store, works. Felt much better for the whole incident. My nephew just watched the whole show in amazement. Made my day.
Next time, I’ll try to contain myself better and merely say, when confronted by a mask wearer chiding me about my lack of one, “what, doesn’t your mask work?”

I, unfortunately, have had to wear a mask at work before they became “mandatory”, and have no problem covering my nose and mouth with the mask. You kind of get used to it.
However, you did the right thing and just walked away.
Thanks! I have never even heard of those but figured there are dozens of diseases a mask would be a good petri dish for. Particularly bacterial and fungal based diseases which love warm moist environments.

That everybody’s got a COVID-19 bias, even in hospitals. Make sure, he was told, that you test her for other things, and they did. And you know what? They found out she had Legionnaires’ disease. She did not have COVID-19.
Legionnaires is bacterial. It is not a virus. She was treated for Legionnaires’ disease and released a day or so later.
A day or so earlier she was pronounced, for all intents and purposes, dead with COVID-19, all because of this bias for chalking everybody up with COVID-19. And how did she get Legionnaires’ disease? Mask. You know, these things can trap bacteria. Medical professionals are not even supposed wear these things all day. You’re supposed to take them off when you have a chance, right? You’re not supposed to be wearing these things all day long.
