“I don’t care about maks-mouf. Wear yer maks!” —Dr. Fasci
Think I’ll tell the greeter at Walmart that I have MASK MOUTH and must go without one.
My mask smelled like doritos all day.
I see a lot of doctors and at least half of them have nasty garlic breath, and that was before the pandemic.
Brush your teeth. Rinse a couple of times.
I am fine with not wearing a mask, but dont turn to pigs as your inspiration.
Most folks that refuse to wear masks have nasty, musty, old person breath anyway.
They suffer from MASK MOUTH.
Mouth diaper
I can’t hardly stand any of these masks...so I shop very little now..groceeries and necessary errands is about it.
I wouldn’t be considered one going to much of any lengths in this corona time. Wash when I get back in the house from being out. I don’t disinfect anything. Wear disposable gloves in stores and mask. And avoid large crowded areas. That’s the it of it......the rest is in Gods hands.
“...The only woman I ever heard of that had crabs on her face..”
That must be indicative of something....
Just dodge the flying gloves and masks in parking lots.
Heck I took one off to throw in the outside trash container and the wind caught it clean into the air! No way could I fetch it!
Not only that but they encourage you to reuse these “Cloth face coverings” over and over again, take them on, take them off, etc, and NO NONE washes their hands after touch them. Then stiff it in your purse, pocket, toss it on the front passenger seat, etc. it’s disgusting but it makes the local Karen’s feel safe, so that’s why these companies and governments have mandated it.
Who cares
Wear the phucking ribbon, serfs
Your betters demand it, we are way smarter than you
Ya, because you are rebreathing that which was supposed to be expelled from the body.
Sounds like you’ve been getting way too close to unmasked people. Back off!
My point was they have bad breath without wearing masks. I thought what I was saying I was obvious.
You don’t have to wear gloves. Just wash your hands after you unpack your groceries. And wash produce like you already do.
Gross!
Well I wear them because you never know what’s on those cart handles or other merchandise.
I had mask mouth once.
more hysteria-induced, unintended consequences?
27 Jul: United Nations Conference on Trade & Development (UNCTAD): Growing plastic pollution in wake of COVID-19: how trade policy can help
The pandemic has led to a surge in pollution from disposable products like plastic face masks and hand sanitizer bottles.
Our streets, beaches and ocean have been hit by a tidal wave of COVID-19 waste including plastic face masks, gloves, hand sanitizer bottles and food packaging.
Plastic pollution was already one of the greatest threats to our planet before the coronavirus outbreak, said Pamela Coke-Hamilton, UNCTADs director of international trade. The sudden boom in the daily use of certain products to keep people safe and stop the disease is making things much worse.
Global sales of disposable face masks alone are set to skyrocket from an estimated $800 million in 2019 to $166 billion in 2020, according to business consulting firm Grand View Research.
But this is only part of the story. Social distancing has also led to a flood of products delivered daily to homes wrapped in a plethora of packaging as people turn to online shopping and takeout services. The ensuing plastic waste is enormous.
For instance, during Singapores eight-week lockdown that eased on June 1, the island city-states 5.7 million residents discarded an additional 1,470 tons of plastic waste from takeout packaging and food delivery alone, according to a survey cited by The Los Angeles Times...
Historical data tell us that about 75% of coronavirus plastic will likely become waste clogging our landfills and floating in our seas. And the costs are staggering.
The negative spillover effects of plastic waste on fisheries, tourism and maritime transport, for example, add up to an estimated $40 billion each year, according to the UN Environment Programme...
