Facebook announced Thursday that it will ban pro-Trump super PAC, The Committee to Defend The President, from buying ads on its platform.
“As a result of the Committee to Defend the President’s repeated sharing of content determined by third-party fact-checkers to be false, they will not be permitted to advertise for a period of time on our platform,” Facebook Policy communications director Andy Stone told FOX Business in a statement.
The page will lose advertising privileges for a minimum of 90 days. The advertising ban will take effect on August 10, and would end around November 1.

Are they permitting similar Biden advertising during the same period, or other dummocrap candidates? If so, I can’t see how that could be legal.

It is long past due to remove the protections these social media tyrants. Facebook should be shot down entirely while the DOJ investigates. Three months should be just the right amount of time.
Using the same justification to confiscate/cease the operation of businesses engaging in illegal activities, Social Media platforms could be charged with violating civil rights, contributing to doxing, contributing to child exploitation, communication facilitators for terrorists, intimidation of certain users, etc.

The only posts being fact checked and flagged and suspended are Trump supporters (even those reposting). I mean, now it’s at the point where if Trump says 73% of blah blah blah they will fact check him with a “Not True” and use a website like cnn or msnbc to fact check and the untrue part will be like: Trump claimed 73% of blah blah blah. The truth is it is really 74% of blah blah blah.
All of this while the video of Joe Biden claiming that 140 million Americans have died from Covid-19 is still on both twitter and facebook.
This is election tampering. This has never happened before until the last few months and the last couple of weeks it’s many times worse.
If our side allows this to continue it could bleed over to other forms of media where you could see republican and Trump ads rejected for television while the democrats and Biden get the only exposure.
Parler.com is a great place but it’s like going to Freerepublic to try to gain support for Trump. It’s singing to the choir. There’s nobody to win over. They all think like we do (for the most part).
We need fair access to Twitter and facebook.

Freeeeee market.....many conservatives seem just fine with this. That’s the sad part.
The simple answer is to stop using Facebook and let them know why.

They are literally putting tape on the mouths of conservatives and letting the democrat candidates say whatever they want. I think, like Comey, they believe they will be safe because they think the democrats will win big The White House and both Houses.
Unfortunately, Trump’s social media accounts played a big part in his victory in 2016. I fear that before we know it he will be banned completely from Twitter and Facebook. Possibly before the end of this month the way they seem to be going just within this last week.
Despite what the media is telling us, Trump does have a huge younger following and a very large number of black american supporters on Twitter and Facebook. They are serious grassroot activists for Trump and are working hard daily and they keep getting flagged, suspended and sometimes completely banned.
This never happened in 2016 nor did it ever happen in the midterm 2018. It’s very bad out there for them and turning into an uphill battle.
