Mark Levin: Hagerty in Tennessee U.S Senate race is a "McConnell RINO with strong ties to Romney"
Twitter ^ | Aug 5 | Mark. R. Levin

@marklevinshow

1. Hagerty has spent millions recreating himself to try to fool Tennessee Republicans about himself. He’s a McConnell RINO with strong ties to Romney. He should never have been appointed ambassador to Japan. Sending him to the Senate would be a huge mistake.

2. His character-assassination of Manny Sethi is typical of McConnell RINOs in GOP primaries. Why do you think McConnell is spending a fortune trashing Sethi to get Hagerty elected?

I already voted for Hagerty.
Hagerty has got Trump’s strong endorsement.
Hagerty has a wealth of experience, Manny has none.

Both candidates are engaged in character assassination.

And I don’t trust what Rand and Cruz are doing in challenging Trump endorsed candidates.

That is why I cast a wary eye on Levin.
He supported Cruz, initially.

It is because of Hagerty’s “experience” that grassroots conservatives in Tennessee overwhelmingly support Dr. Manny Sethi - experience like appointing a known Islamist to an important position in state government, promoting communist China, supporting Romney and numerous other Establicans, and countless other “experience” wholly incompatible with a true conservative (see DailyRollCall.com for details and other examples of Hagerty’s “experience”).

Personally, while I hope and pray for an outright Sethi win, as a conservative I will be voting for Sethi in the general regardless.

As a "conservative" that is just an infantile statement.

If Sethi is not the candidate, you are effectively voting for a demonRAT, so please don't call yourself a "conservative".

Wow, way to stand firm and help elect a 'rat.

Gosh, USS Alaska, thanks for letting me know I am both “infantile” and should not call myself a “conservative”! Based on your in depth evaluation, I guess I can now save myself from wasting future resources after spending so much time and money over decades as a worker and leader within the constitutional conservative movement.

ROMNEY 2024! (because “true conservatives” vote for any and all Republicans)

The lesser of two evils is still an evil.

Sorry, but despite Hagerty’s touting of his McConnell’s judges-for-endorsements Trump “endorsement”, his past actions combined with his nasty and lie-fueled campaign demonstrate he is a Trojan Horse just waiting for gullible voters to pull him inside the Senate walls.

Sometimes - oft times, even - the “’rat” has an “R” after his/her name.

Sethi has some really bad ties/comments on his record.

Hagerty is just the Tennessee RINO du jour.

Congratulations, you voted for the anointed successor to Lamar! and Bob Corker. Heaven forbid that Tennessee put another actual conservative in the Senate. Marsha Blackburn was an accident, but it won't happen again.

Sincerely,
The RINO Herd

Hagerty has got Trump’s strong endorsement.

At this point, Trump has a track record of championing people who then turn on him - John Kelly, Rex Tillerson, John Bolton, James Mattis, Anthony Scaramucci, Omarosa Manigault. I trust Trump to make good decisions for this nation - I don't necessarily trust his judgment in endorsing others.

It's up to the people of Tennessee - I hope they choose wisely. The last thing this nation needs is more Romneys.

President Trump Endorses Bill Hagerty for U.S. Senate in Tennessee
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/07/12/president-trump-endorses-bill-hagerty-for-u-s-senate-in-tennessee/

We can't afford to lose the Senate majority. A Democrat majority Senate would mean the loss of our most important freedoms for a long time. We need an even greater Republican Senate majority to get more honest justices on the Supreme Court.

LS, count me among those who not only greatly respect you, but recommend and gift your books.

That said, I suspect you have been misled by the Establican blizzard of propaganda targeting Sethi and may wish to do more research. (DailyRollCall.com and TennesseeStar.com are good places to start. Hagerty commercials are a good place to see Goebbels’ “big lie” principle at work.)

Grassroot conservatives within Tennessee have extensively vetted both Hagerty and Sethi. Consequently, Tennessee grassroots conservatives overwhelmingly support Sethi.

Honestly, Sethi was not my first choice and there are others running who have greater conservative bona fides. That said, for better or for worse, this is essentially a race between known Establican Hagerty and hope-he-votes-like-he-says-he-will Sethi.

Sethi donated money to ActBlue in 2008? Very suspicious. The President trusts Hagerty more after having worked with him.

What is this “we” you refer to? How soon “we” forget there is a sitting GOP Senator who voted to remove President Trump based on a Democrat hoax impeachment. How soon we forget many GOP Senators did not support POTUS in 2016 to the benefit of Hillary Criminal.

We need to understand that the McConnell wing of the GOP prefer progressive Democrats and their policies to President Trump and the MAGA agenda. There is no opposition party to the progressive-corportist alliance and you can thank China Mitch and his minions for that.

Maybe, and I certainly don’t claim to have much expertise on this race. But Hagerty won, right?

Let’s not waste more time. I think we have a lot of “soft” Trumpers in there, but he can hardly be worse than Lamar. I’m not happy about McSally, either, but McCarthy (whom I voted for would have lost huge.

If we have any hope of getting ANY conservative on the court, we must hold the senate. Again, not saying Hagerty would be fully supportive of someone like Barrett (if she’s the nominee and if Buzzi ever croaks), but we can’t lose ANY seat besides McSally and Gardner, because then Minion, MurCowSki can flip the vote.

I’d crawl through a minefield to vote for President Trump, but I’ve never known of anyone with such a terrible track record for hiring losers and backstabbers. It’s just mind-boggling, not to mention depressing as hell!

Trump-Backed Bill Hagerty Seeks to Complete President’s Perfect Record in 2020 Senate Primaries
Breitbart

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/08/03/trump-backed-bill-hagerty-seeks-to-complete-presidents-perfect-record-in-2020-senate-primaries/
“Bill Hagerty has been a supporter of my father since before it was politically expedient,” Trump Jr. told Breitbart News. “Others like to talk the talk, but Bill has always walked the walk in support of our conservative America First agenda. In the Senate, he’ll stand up to the Democrats and Never Trumpers and will fight to secure the border, hold China accountable and protect our precious constitutional rights.”

Yes. If you haven't already done so, see the Breitbart article linked in comment #19. Then in the Breitbart article, scroll down to the paragraph that starts with "But Sethi’s narrative began crumbling after a Breitbart News investigation..."
