Why all the hang wringing? Elizabeth Warren says that she is part American Indian so she should matches the Democrat requirement of a woman of color be the vice presidential nominee.

Yep. I really don’t understand the logic behind identity politics, as I would choose the most qualified regardless of gender or color. But I’m not a Democrat.
Two decades ago I had a position to fill. My liberal boss told me I needed to hire a minority. I told him I would hire the most qualified. As it turned out, after many interviews I did hire a black woman as she did the best on my test and was the most qualified. He looked at her like a statistic, which really angered me, as she really was qualified.

It seems to me if they want a woman that can run things right away they’d like Warren. Unless they want a woman that will do as they say.

I think the only pick that would generate any energy or “life” into his campaign is Bernie. Yes he said he was going to go with a woman, but he’s a politician they “say things”. Bernie has the “free stuff “ thing going and it has universal appeal (Unfortunately !). Bernie would help him in union areas like the Midwest & Pennsylvania.

I don't believe his team is making the decision either. It's been my opinion that the DNC overlords are making the decision. Biden's people didn't get Amy and Petey boy to step aside just before Super Tuesday. And they didn't tell Warren to stay in in order to siphon votes away from Bernie. No, this is all the work of the DNC, and they're the ones telling Biden and his team who the VP will be. Names get thrown out just to see what kind of damaging info comes to the surface. The DNC is looking for someone they can own and with as little baggage as possible.
