I stand corrected. I know someone in the Apollo program passed last year....thought it was him.
I always knew the private sector would do a better job in space then NASA.
Can I quarantine with the blonde two rows back from him?
Thats the boss, Elon Musk. Hes bullet proof.
and based on his tweets, he’s a believer in the HCQ protocol.
You might be thinking of Al Worden. Command module pilot of Apollo 15. He passed away a few months ago.
Thought it was someone from the Mission Control crew. But, you may be right.
Mission Control - in a glass room - no pressure though
They wanted them close to a port and access to medical from an earlier statement.
20 minutes until Splash Down
They should have some views from a chopper towards the end I would think
some re-entry music during blackout:
Prayers up and fingers crossed!
and not too far from a major NASA facility, either CA or Houston, TX. Bob and Doug will be headed for Houston later today for they’re real medical followup.
Got the ‘see you on the other side’ call-up.....
Here we go.
Made it through blackout, next event is parachute deploy.
That's what they make Wall Street for.
The private sector is now taking up the charge, and doing a damn site better than NASA ever did. The shuttle was a dangerous, ungainly and hideous boondoggle. I'm glad it's retired.
A "space plane" is in the works (and space)....X37-B. I liked the "Sanger" concept from decades ago.
Looks good so far.
