From the days of 18th century Small Pox vaccinations, when a pustule on an actively infected person was pierced and the needle put into someone else’s arm, a percentage of people receiving vaccinations become ill and even die. It’s a bit of a lottery. Personally, I’ll decline any vaccination for Covid-19 and trust to take on immunity the natural way, living life as close to normal as possible. Seems a decent bet with a sub 10% symptomatic, and below 1% death rate, virus. Contrary to the panic mongers, this isn’t like the Black Death or Yellow fever.
They can always revert to hydoxychloroquine. I hear it works
I don’t care if a vaccine is effective or not — as long as the easily manipulated people fall for it. If that’s what it’ll take to get rid of social distancing and masks, bring it on.
Its like any medication: Your doctor makes the suggestion, gives you necessary benefits to harm ratio and benefits to risk ratio, and tells you what the possible side effects actually are, and then, lets you decide if you want to use it, or not. Force is unacceptable in a free country. In a rational country,individual decisions have primacy over forced utilitarianism.
All this for a vaccine that’s only 60% effective at best... no thanks. I’ll stick with what I know works... HCQ+zinc in prophylaxis.
MAKE HCQ AND ZINC SULFATE OTC DRUGS AND PANDEMIC OVER, THEN IF SOMEONE GETS A COUGH OR FEVER HE CAN TAKE THE MEDS IMMEDIATELY AND STOP THE VIRUS.....IN THE MEANTIME TAKE A ZICAM TWICE A DAY............
No placebo group - when those are included in a study the rates of adverse reactions attributable to the vaccine can be better assessed. Lots of folks who take a placebo report nausea, fatigue, headache etc.

How many of the total were only “pain at the injection site”?
Fatigue, chills, headache, and pain at the injection site don’t sound too bad, but I have to wonder what the “systemic adverse effects” suffered by the folks who got a larger or second dose were.
Fever, joint pain and nausea were also reported.
