I’m guessing there’s been quite a few men behind Drudge.
Enquiring minds want to know.
Drudge sold to a foreign buyer with a non disclosure agreement didn’t he?
Take this with a grain of salt, but the current Alexa ranking is almost 900 ( https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/drudgereport.com ), and it has been as low as 1,100 in the last 90 days. If I’m not mistaken, their ratings used to be in the 600-800 range. I have a pretty good idea of why the ratings are slipping.
Given how long it has been since Drudge was relevant, this book seems like it is badly timed.

So now that he’s outed as a leftist, Drudge will be feted, written glowingly about, and hoisted on everyone’s shoulders as a hero...
Does that title imply that a mysterious man is standing behind Drudge who is bent over grabbing his own ankles?
For those who can remember his short-lived show on FOX about 20 years ago — one look at him on camera and you know what the guy is about.
For those who haven’t seen his show, his fascination with all things, er... fecal should have been enough warning.

The Drudge report is a nothing burger now. Too many people left. And I do not believe that Drudge owns or runs the site any longer.
I don't know what's happened to him in the last couple years, I've heard everything from he was essentially bought out by Google and paid close to a billion dollars to go left, to he and Trump use to be friends but had a real nasty dispute a couple years ago and Drudge has been hellbent on destroying Trump ever since. Who know?
I know Matt Drudge. I knew him back in his halcyon days, broke bread and had a few drinks along the way. He was an odd duck, even back in those days. I can’t imagine that he has become more sane over the years.
