Well done, Sgt. Perry. And don't feel bad. I can guarantee you, Foster wouldn't be feeling bad right now if he had killed you. He'd probably be celebrating. Keep in mind, these are the people you are sworn to kill if it comes down to brass tacks: enemies of our country. And Foster was one of the worst. So sleep well knowing you have the gratitude of a grateful nation. Cheers, and thanks again, Sgt. Perry!!
Good shot, Sergeant!
Link?
Good point. I also wonder why a US Army Sergeant has to moonlight as a rideshare driver.
Hopefully, someone on Trumps staff will tell him about this. Explaining it to him as a simple matter of self-defense, and praising the sergeant for it. If it gets a lot of public attention, perhaps the higher ups in the Pentagon wont touch it with a 10 foot pole.
I knew a few E-4s on my ship that used to moonlight. Most of the time, it was because they were about to get out and needed the extra cash for the trip home.
Yep, party’s over.
Time to get a new lawyer and sue that firm that released your name.
“Protester”
Maybe the Army that is so concerned with political correctness should ask itself why a Sergeant has to work a second job?
“Peaceful Protestor with an AK47”
Time to get a new lawyer and sue that firm that released your name.
YESSSSS!!! Hire Lin Wood just like Simone Gold did when the hospital she worked for fired her.....start holding these cowards and inept idiots accountable!!!
You forgot the around peaceful.
This is the most common one:
But there's another one that shows Perry turning right on to what I think is 4th street (which is not as fun as 6th st in Austin, but still in the college drinking zone).
Right after he turns a bunch of the rioters start running at his car, you hear the shots go off, then they all start running the opposite direction. Will try to find it.
But if his attorney is saying that Perry fired when Foster pointed his AK at him, that's the story. But somebody else fired, and nobody has said who that was other then "a member of the crowd". Didn't know a crowd was a club you could be a member of, but that's how journalists think.
This is why I didn’t think the Colorado couple was completely innocent. It is okay to carry the gun, but once you start pointing a gun you are an immediate threat. I didn’t see the husband point his gun towards the mob, but the wife sure did.
Most sharp NCOs I knew were taking college classes and/or working side jobs. One MSgt was a manager of a very large supermarket for years.
“but the wife sure did.”
The wife’s gun didn’t work. It was assembled incorrectly.
Perry fires first out of the window. Perhaps 3-4 shots. Last shot is Foster after being hit; the AK is distinctive. Then some other guy, a few seconds later fires at Perry leaving the scene.
