This is depressing. Democrats and Republicans have no concern for the deficit, no concern for incentives, and no qualms about buying votes with the taxpayer’s money.

You know, I don’t understand some Freepers. Pubs are always saying how we pay too much in taxes to the federal gov’t, and how the citizens suffer from the burden of these high taxes. So here we have Congress wanting to give us our tax money back in the form of direct payments right into our personal accounts, in other words, a tidy tax rebate, in other words less $ for the gov’t, more $ for us of our own hard earned money. What’s not to like? Why do you protest so hard against the gov’t giving us back our money? Sounds like a win win to me.
