All 50 U.S. states have issued warnings about unsolicited packages containing unknown seeds sent to random U.S. households from China.
According to various photos shared by the state departments, people across the country have received packages that appear to have been processed by China Post, which operates the official postal service of China. Labels on the packages indicate there is jewelry inside, only to reveal clear packets of seeds.
Wang Wenbin, a spokesman for Chinas foreign ministry, said at a regular press briefing on Tuesday that the labels appear to be forged and that China Post has asked the U.S. Postal Service to send such packages back to China for investigation.
The U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on Tuesday that its Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services (APHIS) agency is working with the Department of Homeland Securitys Customs and Border Protection, other federal agencies, and state departments of agriculture, to investigate the situation.
USDA is currently collecting seed packages from recipients and will test their contents and determine if they contain anything that could be of concern to U.S. agriculture or the environment, the department announced.
U.S. residents are advised to immediately report the unsolicited packages to their local agriculture departments and not dispose of or plant the seeds, over concerns that the packages containing invasive or harmful pests and weeds.
Please hold onto the seeds and packaging, including the mailing label, until someone from your state department of agriculture or APHIS contacts you with further instructions. Do not plant seeds from unknown origins, the USDA advised.
There is no evidence to suggest the situation is something other than a brushing scam, the department also said. The scam involves people sending unsolicited items to a given U.S. address to qualify as a verified buyer,

Thanks for the heads up!
Could be a red herring also
Have some hemlock in that drink or poison parsley on that salad, citizens.
Too easy for the criminal mind. The great unmasked...from virtue signaling to violence signaling, deplorables, bitter clingers, dog-faced pony soldiers. Its just a shot away virus carrying criminals. We had to kill him before we could test him. EVIL knows no depths.
Amazon is doing more harm to USPS IMO. The mail has been the only thing people can rely on anymore. I salute them.
Pretty sure this is an international treaty sort of thing that has existed for a long time.
My parents were able to mail 10 kg relief packages to an acquaintance in Dresden in the late 40s- early 50s for a very reasonable cost. Except for those stolen over there, most seem to have made it through, even during the Berlin Blockade.
they may end up in the landfill and grow. Don’t throw any more out. Burn em.
Murder Hornet eggs
Trying to find it but someone posted that an idiot lady planted the seeds.
What a moron.
The local authorities here are recommending that you put the seeds in the oven for 40 minutes at 200 degrees to kill them and then throwing them in the trash for the landfill. Don’t toss in the green waste.
Might want to share this story with your neighbor...
It been several weeks...has no ag department planted them to see what they actually are?
They dont say anything about what the seeds are?The government wants to disarm us after 244 yrs 'cuz they plan to do things we would shoot them for!Nope.
Ignorance is bliss.
They want us to be ecstatically, deliriously happy!

At no point in history has any government ever wanted its people to be defenseless for any good reason ~ nully's son

To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I don't add you to the list...
I’m expecting a letter with 35 million dollars from some guy in Nigeria.
He said he’s legit and all. I just had to give him my SSN, bank account number, bank routing number, my birth date and mother’s maiden name.
I should have told him I am Harrison J. Bounel but then I didn’t want to lie. Imagine if someone else lied about using that name! That would be, like, bad.
ummm, not you Lurkina.n.Learnin!
I understood completely. It’s strange no pictures of the seeds, no mention if the same seeds are going to the various states just reassurance that they are on it. I hope their investigation is a little more expedited then the FBI investigation. I only have so many years left.
Interesting thought. However knowing how the BIG ones are constructed, anything planted via the garbage has zero chance of growing. Or, leaching anything into the surrounding soil.
They are indeed idiots! And unfortunately there will be more of this invasive species planted.
In the mean time, I hope they did it up.
No thanks. Ill send them to the US government to investigate.
Curiouser and curiouser
