What a bummer. I had the priviledge of meeting him and chatting at a Gun Shop and Range (American Heritage) in McDonough, GA years ago. He was getting a 1911 customized.

We have to believe that Mr. Cain knew the risks of contracting COVID-19 given his health circumstances, and made an informed decision and the best for his and his family.
I hope Trump eclipses John Lewis’ death by remembering Herman who he fought but admired.

He was a cancer survivor.
Mr Cain was a grown man and took whatever risks he chose of his own free will. As we should all be allowed to do.
Also, he went lots of places. Not just a trump rally. He probably went to the gas station and the convenience store and his office and his friend’s house...and everyone he saw also went lots of places. There is not one scintilla of evidence he got it at a “trump rally” or anywhere else.
I got to sit at a poker table with him for a couple of hours in ‘Vegas. Fun time. Sad news.

He was a smart man. He knew his age and his health status. He decided to live his life and not recluse. That was his decision to make, not ours.
