"Every Senate Republican voted against the bill."

All 15 of them fought all through the night. Just damn.

Well, it could be worse.

I bet a lot of states will pass ‘anti-police laws’ that will be much worse.

Why do people apply to be police officers in liberal strongholds to begin with? Theyre only going to get stabbed in the back.

The reason why the Founding Fathers gave us a rather cumbersome process (at least on the federal level) for passing laws was SPECIFICALLY to avoid passing laws on the whims of the mob. It was constructed to have our elected representatives fully consider what they are doing, and whether it is in the best interests of the entire country to take a particular action, as opposed to just temporarily satisfying a mob.

No legislation passed in a hurry has ever been a good thing, and this CT idiocy is no exception. I hope that the people of CT get what they voted for, good and hard, and vote differently the next time around. Sometimes the only way to learn is to get hit in the head with a 2 x 4.

Urged on by Black Lives Matter and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the Connecticut Senate assured final passage of a police accountability bill early Wednesday morning, 21-15, during a rushed special session.

Do these Communist Connecticut Senators believe that this bill will provide more safety and security to the people of Connecticut?

I guess that they do not have to have a backup plan in case the legislation they just passed does not work.

Apparently the Democrats do not care what their people think or want, just like communists.

Keep an eye on Police Academy enrollments. In many Demonrat enclaves it’s dwindling badly. A very bad omen.

All the trial lawyer billboards in CT will be go from “injured in a car accident?” to “have your rights been violated by a police officer?”

This bill was low hanging fruit for the CT ruling party. A sop to their trial lawyer patrons and a “look what we’ve done” gesture to the BLM crowd. They just couldn’t say no.

The consequences will be brutal.
