They have coarsened it, but it needed to be coarsened. We’re closing in on endgame, and it’s gonna be a real b!tch.

Canada Ted, like Rand Paul, is one or those prominent political leaders that on any given day makes you so proud, and the next day makes you hurl.

Lyn Ted needs to STFU and resign so that Gov. Abbot can appoint a Trump supporting Republican.

He’s an overly religious holier-than-thou type who doesn’t want to be president as much as he wants to be the

The media would have a field day with Cruz. No wonder he nearly lost in 2018.

His ambition is destroying him as a decent Senator.
All he can think about is his own usurpation.

You don’t meet with success by being wishy-washy, and saying dubious things.
Get to the point and do as you say, and don’t be spineless.
Democrats hate a fighter, and they’ll do everything they can to destroy anyone that doesn’t agree with them. Democrats leave ‘bodies’ behind with everything they do. In many cases, actual dead bodies can be found on those trails that democrats have walked through. The dead bodies and injured bodies that we are witnessing now in the riots, are all part of the radical methods that democrats use, and the names of the groups they use to carry out their dastardly deeds (BLM, Antifa, etc), are meant to disguise the people behind those attacks, but the real name of those in control is the democrat party.
Antifa and BLM are just splinter groups of the democrat party, and some have even gone as far as to call them ‘myths’.

Looks likes Cruz is back to his NeverTrumper mode.
Doesn't look like that to me by any stretch of the imagination. He criticized the president on one thing while also praising him. Cruz has consistently been one of Trump's strongest supporters since he took office. Slavish devotion to Trump is not a good thing - even Trump admitted just yesterday that he sometimes wishes he'd waited before tweeting.

This is coming from The Hill. I’ll keep my powder dry for now.
To: conservative98
Yeah, that is when I dropped supporting Cruz, and went full Trump, when Cruz threw a fig leaf covering to the Bolsheviks in Chicago who shutdown a Trump rally in 2016. Cruz made some mealy mouthed comment that 'Sure, the Bolsheviks were wrong, but Candidate Trump said mean things to incite the anger'... I understood that Cruz was running against Trump, and certainly I'd expect opponents to throw mud at each other --- but NEVER when it would support Bolshevik scum who are trying to destroy our Country. And that is what Cruz did.
I didn't read this post, and perhaps the headline doesn't match Cruz's comments (it wouldn't be the first time that the Fake Media prevaricated in their attempt to stir up animosity in the Republican ranks) - but Cruz's comments in 2016 defending the mob in Chicago still sticks in my craw...

No, political discussion was coarsened and corrupted for years by leftist Democrats and their main stream media allies. When President Trump arrived on the scene it was the first time since President Reagan that Republicans called out the media and the left.
To: conservative98
If Trump has ‘coarsened’ the national dialogue, it’s only because that’s what the national dialogue deserves. It had already been degraded before President Trump ever entered politics. The rules were - lie, suppress, mischaracterize, smear, and inflame people’s passions, but do it in a ‘dignified’ way with all the veneer of fairness that phony objectivity can buy.
Trump speaks the truth in a way that deprives his opponents of the dignity that they don’t deserve.

Maybe you don’t think of him as a NeverTrumper, but he certainly followed what their script by giving the media a GREAT headline to trash Trump with, rather than getting with him privately.
