Portland protester dubbed 'Naked Athena' for her nude confrontation with armed police has revealed how her display was unplanned and felt like 'being in the eye of the storm'.
The woman, who said her name was Jen and she was a sex worker in her 30s, told how she was inspired to strip off to confront the officers after being affronted by their 'macho' stances.

As soon as I read sex worker in the title I knew it would be a Daily Mail article.
Ok I had to laugh at the guy getting in front of her to shield her body from view.

Fyi, I still have some family in the Portland area (Part of the “Oklahoma Branch” of the family emigrated to Oregon during the Dust Bowl era, when most small farm families were going broke. My Uncle Trull went out there in 1935 & wrote home to Delaware County that he had found a good-paying job & suggested that IF other members of the family wanted to more to OR that he would help them find jobs, too. - In the next 2-3 years, about 20 members of the family moved from OK to the Portland area.) & they think that the current social/moral/intellectual status of the “leadership” of city government is BRAINLESS, CLUELESS, at least as BAD as the government of CA & verging upon becoming UNGOVERNABLE/UNAMERICAN.

As far as I know, the only member of my mother’s family who moved out of New York State to California, was my mother’s only sibling...her older brother. He was a WWII Army vet, and he and his wife never had kids. When he got sick in the early 60’s, they sold their house out there, and headed back to Rochester, New York where we lived. They stayed with us prior to his being admitted to the VA hospital in Batavia, NY where he died in the fall of 1964. His wife stayed with us for about a year before heading back to California. She passed several years ago. The rest of our immediate family on both sides stayed in and around New York State.
